Since opening Anchor Point Natural Foods in March, owner Tara Kain has found the need to expand her business. 

So, expand she has, with a bigger location in Homer. Since Sept. 16, the store has been located at 345 Sterling Highway, Suite 105. The new location not only offers more room, but is more convenient for many of Kain’s customers, including Homer residents who were making the drive to Anchor Point to shop at the natural foods store or Anchor Point residents who commute to work in Homer.

In addition to her regular inventory, Kain carries locally grown vegetables and has a growing list of Alaska-made products. 

The natural foods store is open Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., closed Sunday. The phone number is 399-7900.
