Alaska USA Federal Credit Union has been selected as the 2013 504 Lender of the Year — Alaska region by the U.S. Small Business Administration and Evergreen Community Development Corp.

 The SBA 504 loan program provides long-term, fixed-rate financing designed for small businesses and was established to contribute to the economic development of communities. All Alaska community-lending institutions are eligible for the award and the recognition is given to the lender with the highest number of approved loans as of Sept. 30, 2013.

Evergreen Community Development Corp. is authorized by the U.S. Small Business Administration as a Certified Development Company. Evergreen has recognized Alaska USA, as an organization and for individual loan officers, as its Premier Community Lending Organization for fiscal year 2013.
