Alaskans who had a Moda health insurance plan through healthcare.gov, but who do not yet have coverage, can apply during a special enrollment period for new coverage until March 1.

According to the Alaska Primary Care Association, the enrollment period for other coverage ended Jan. 31, but Alaskans who lost coverage on Dec. 31 can still apply for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare after former President Barack Obama.
