The northern lights put on a show late Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, as seen in this photo taken about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday from McNeil Canyon. According to the University of Alaska Fairbanks Geophysical Institute’s aurora forecast, northern lights should be visible from Barrow to Juneau today through Saturday, weather permitting. The forecast calls for clear skies on Saturday.
