The Wild Shore Festival for New Music main stage concert is at 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday at Bunnell Street Arts Center. Admission is a suggested $25 per show. From noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday in Seldovia is an interactive concert and composition and instrumental workshops. Bunnell also holds workshops from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday. At 8 p.m. Tuesday, some of the Wild Shore musicians play in a concert with Los Holy Santos Gang at the Down East Saloon.
The Wild Shore Festival features music from Lower 49 and Alaska composers, including Conrad Winslow of Homer. Performing are Grammy-nominated pianist Vicki Ray and flute, bass and percussion trio Concert Black. Alaska composers featured are Winslow, Jane Rigler and Matthew Burtner.
