Alaska State Troopers at 2:14 p.m. were notified of a motor vehicle crash near 6 mile East End Road. The caller reported the female driver leaving the scene on foot. Troopers contacted her, arrested her for an outstanding warrant, and took her to Homer Jail.

Oct. 6

A caller at 11:22 a.m. reported a fuel theft from a property off East End Road. 550 gallons of fuel and a cord of firewood were stolen over the weekend.

Troopers at 4:39 p.m. issued a misdemeanor to a man on the Sterling Highway for driving with a canceled license.
