Alaska State Troopers at 5:24 p.m., Anchor Point-based troopers conducted a traffic stop on a white 1990 Chevrolet truck on Oilwell Road near Kingsley Road for multiple traffic violations. An investigation revealed the driver, a 53-year-old man, was operating the vehicle under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Troopers arrested the driver for driving under the influence and transported him to the Homer Jail where he was held pending arraignment.

Alaska State Troopers at 9:24 a.m. received a report of a vehicle stolen from a residence on Comic Circle in Anchor Point. An investigation showed the vehicle had been reported being involved in a crash in a gravel pit off Cottonwood in Anchor Point the previous night. The vehicle was turned over to the owner and the investigation is ongoing.
