Alaska State Troopers at 7:18 p.m. conducted a traffic stop near mile 162 of Sterling Highway. Investigation revealed that a man was operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. He was arrested and transported to Anchor Point Trooper Post, where he refused to provide a breath sample. He was transported to Homer Jail where he was remanded on charges of DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
