Firefighters and emergency medical technicians responded to 16 medical calls and one fire call. EMTs went to four advanced life support emergencies, 11 basic life support emergencies and three no-transport emergency medical services calls. Firefighters went to a bomb threat at KPC.

Homer Police
July 23
Homer Police at 5:55 p.m. conducted a routine traffic stop. As a result, a 22-year-old Wasilla man was arrested for Driving Under the influence and remanded to Homer Jail.
July 23
Police at 7:33 p.m. observed a 19-year-old Homer woman driving into the Homer Police Department parking lot and presents in lobby. As a result, she was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and remanded to Homer Jail.
July 25
Police at 01:36 a.m. conducted a routine traffic stop. As a result, a 26-year-old Anchorage man was arrested for Driving Under the influence, Driving While License Suspended, and remanded to Homer Jail.

Police at 11:20 a.m. responded to a tip about a wanted person. As a result, a 26-year-old Homer man was arrested on an outstanding Soldotna AST arrest warrant for Assault IV and Interfering with report of DV crime and remanded to Homer Jail.

Police at 10:11 p.m. responded to a tip about a wanted person. As a result a 20-year-old Homer woman was arrested on an outstanding Soldotna Warrant for Failure to Appear original charge of Driving Under the Influence and remanded to Homer Jail.
Alaska State Troopers
July 21
Alaska State Troopers at 9:30 p.m. received multiple calls about a single vehicle rollover near Mile 159.5 Sterling Highway. A 26-year-old Homer woman was arrested for DUI, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor and VCOR, and taken to Homer Jail. AST is asking anyone who witnessed the accident or saw the vehicle, a black Nissan SUV to contact Trooper Bozman at 907-262-4453.
July 21
Troopers, with the assistance of the Homer Police Department, at 10:37 p.m. responded to a report of an individual with a gunshot wound. Investigation determined nobody was injured. A 27-year-old Homer man was issued a criminal summons for Misconduct Involving Weapons in the 4th Degree.
July 21
Troopers issued a criminal summons for Criminal Mischief in the 5th Degree to a 53-year-old Anchor Point man. This was following a reports received on July 9 at 3:44 p.m. for a vandalized vehicle in Anchor Point.
July 22
Troopers at 10:53 p.m. conducted a traffic stop on a 47-year-old Anchor Point man for an equipment violation. Troopers arrested the man for an outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrant for Failure to Appear for the original charge of DWLR, and added a new charge of DWLR. The man was taken to Homer Jail.
July 24
Troopers at 6:48 p.m. conducted a patrol of a neighborhood near Mile 138 Sterling Highway. During the patrol AST contacted a 27-year-old Anchor Point who was subsequently issued a misdemeanor summons for New Owner Fail to Transfer Title and a citation for NVOL.
July 24
Troopers at 8:49 p.m. conducted a traffic stop near Mile 133 Sterling Highway. Investigation determined the driver, a 21-year-old Soldotna man, possessed no insurance and a suspended license. Troopers issued a misdemeanor summons for No Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance and a citation for DWLS.
July 24
Troopers at 6:07 p.m. conducted a traffic stop for a seat belt violation near Mile 144 Sterling Highway. A 24-year-old Ninilchik man was issued a misdemeanor summons for No Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance in the Homer Court.
