July 12-18
Firefighters and emergency medical technicians responded to 11 medical calls and five fire calls. EMTs went to one advanced life support emergency, 10 basic life support emergencies and four no-transport emergency medical services calls. Firefighters went to one fire alarm, one mutual aid call, two natural gas leak investigations, and one illegal burn and one Dumpster fire.

Homer Police
July 12
Homer Police at 1:51 a.m. made a traffic stop on a 47-year-old Nikolaevsk man and issued him a summons for driving while license suspended.
July 13
Police at 3:10 a.m. made a traffic stop and contacted a 13-year-old child driving. Police issued a summons to a 48-year-old Delta Junction man for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Police at 11 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 22-year-old Reno, Nevada, man and arrested him for driving under the influence. He was taken to the Homer Jail.
July 14
Police at 2:48 p.m. observed a wanted subject, a 33-year-old Homer man, and arrested him on two U.S. Marshal warrants for probation violations on an original charge of meth possession. He was taken to the Homer Jail.
July 15
Police at 2:49 p.m. received a report of a runway juvenile who reported an after-the-fact assault. The case is under investigation.
July 16
Police at 10:02 p.m. went to a report of a disturbance and arrested a 50-year-old Homer woman for violating conditions of release. She was taken to the Homer Jail.
July 17
Police at 2:40 p.m. took a report of an after-the-fact burglary. The case is under investigation.
Police at 5:17 p.m. received a report of an after-the-fact domestic disturbance. The case is under investigation.
July 18
Police at 12:54 p.m. went to a report of a bomb threat at Kenai Peninsula College-Kachemak Bay Campus. They conducted a sweep of the building and found nothing dangerous; all was clear.
Alaska State Troopers
July 9
Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited a 53-year-old Fritz Creek man for commercial fishing during a closed period in the Naknek-Kvichak District.
July 11
Alaska State Troopers at 11:28 p.m. received a report of a possible violation of conditions of release in Anchor Point. Troopers responded and determined a 37-year-old man had violated his conditions of release and issued him a summons on that charge.
July 14
Troopers at 8:40 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 24-year-old Ninilchik man near Mile 143 Sterling Highway. Police determined the driver did not have insurance and issued him a summns for no motor vehicle liability insurance.
July 15
Wildlife Troopers cited a 44-year-old Homer man for commercial fishing during a closed period in the Egegik Section.
July 16
Troopers at 10:16 p.m. made a traffic stop for a seat belt violation on a 53-year-old California driver in Ninilchik. Troopers arrested the man for DUI and took him to the Homer Jail where he was released on his own recognizance once sober.
July 17
Troopers at 10:44 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 46-year-old Anchor Point drivier on the North Fork Road for a moving violation. Troopers arrested the man for DUI and refusal to submit to a breath test. He was taken to the Homer Jail.
