Katie Appelhanz will graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Performance: Applied Exercise Science, with a minor in Health, from Austin Peay State University, in Clarksville, Tenn. Commencement exercises will be Friday, May 6. Appelhanz graduates summa cum laude with a cumulative grade-point-average of 4.0.

Appelhanz earned Dean’s List honors and is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society.

A 2012 graduate of Homer High School, Appelhanz is the daughter of Patrick and Janet McNary.
