Wildlife Troopers cited a 38-year-old Anchorage man for fishing with more than one line in China Poot Bay. The man also was issued a summons for sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, marijuana.

Wildlife Troopers cited a 53-year-old Homer man for fishing with more than one line in marine waters near the Anchor River.
Wildlife Troopers cited a 51-year-old Soldotna man for trolling for king salmon with more than one line in Cook Inlet.
Wildlife Troopers cited a 49-year-old Ninilchik woman for failing to record a king salmon more than 20 inches on her license.
May 15
Troopers at 7:07 p.m. went to a car crash near Mile 163 Sterling Highway. Troopers said a 69-year-old Anchor Point man lost control of his car and hit a tree. Anchor Point EMTs responded and the man was medevaced to Providence Alaska Hospital in critical condition.
May 18
At 8:25 p.m. troopers went to a home near Mile 10 East End Road for the report of a man with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Troopers said a 23-year-old Eagle River man had shot and killed himself with a handgun. Next of kin were present.
