Alaska State Troopers and Homer Police at 1 p.m. contacted a 20-year-old Nanwalek man at a home off the Sterling Highway in Homer. They arrested him on outstanding warrant for charges of first- and second-degree sexual abuse of a minor. He was taken to the Homer Jail and held on $60,000 cash bail.
Troopers at 5:42 p.m. went to a Nikolaevsk home for a report that a man had entered the home and kidnapped an 18-month-old girl. Troopers found the child and alleged a 38-year-old Nikolaevsk man had kidnapped the girl. They arrested him for kidnapping and first-degree burglary. The child was unharmed and was returned to her mother.

Troopers at 3 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 26-year-old Anchor Point man and arrested him for possession of methamphetamines and marijuana.
