Alaska State Troopers at 3:13 p.m. stopped a 44-year-old Homer man driving a Subaru at a Sterling Highway gas station in Homer. Troopers arrested the driver and a passenger, a 40-year-old Anchor Point woman, for fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, methamphetamines. Troopers also charged the man with sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, marijuana. The woman also had an outstanding warrant.
