Alaska State Troopers at 10:47 p.m. while doing a security check at a Cooper Landing restaurant saw a white Chevrolet truck parked in front of the restaurant. Troopers contacted the driver, a 35-year-old Homer man, and determined the truck had broken down. Troopers said the man had a suspended driver’s license from Utah and cited him for driving while license suspended.

Troopers at 6:40 p.m. made a traffic stop on a man driving a blue Ford F-150 pickup truck near Mile 143 Sterling Highway in Ninilchik. Troopers said the driver, a 54-year-old Ninilchik man, had a revoked license and also drove in violation of limitations on his license. Troopers said the man also had a $250 arrest warrant for petition to revoke probation. Troopers arrested him on the warrant and on charges of driving while license revoked and driving in violation of limitations on his license. He was taken to the Homer Jail.
