Alaska State Troopers at 12:32 p.m. went to a report of a theft from a Fanning Road home in Homer. Troopers said two large marine batteries worth $800 each were taken from a boat parked at the home. During the investigation troopers contacted a 41-year-old Homer woman and a 32-year-old Homer man. The man was arrested for second-degree theft and the woman for a probation violation. The batteries were recovered and returned to the owner.

Troopers at 11:30 a.m. went to a disturbance at an Anchor Point home and arrested a 53-year-old Anchor Point man for violating conditions of release.
