Alaska State Troopers went to a report of an assault in Port Graham and arrested a 38-year-old Port Graham man for fourth-degree assault.
Feb. 20
Troopers at 6:40 p.m. made a traffic stop on a driver at Pioneer Avenue and Svedlund Street. Troopers said the driver and passenger acted suspicioiusly when troopers contacted them and that throwing knives fell out of the driver’s wallet when he gave troopers identification. Troopers pulled out their weapons and the driver and passenger cooperated. Troopers arrested a 31-year-old man for driving while license suspended.
Feb. 21
Troopers went to a report of an assault in Ninilchik. They said a 43-year-old Ninilchik man assaulted a family member, broke a hair dryer and drank alcohol in violation of conditions of release. Troopers said the man had two previous fourth-degree assault convictions. They arrested him for third-degree assault, criminal mischief and violating conditions of release.
