Alaska State Troopers at 6:30 p.m. stopped for speeding the driver of a black Nissan Versa near Mile 139 Sterling Highway in Ninilchik. A records check showed the driver, a 53-year-old Anchorage man, had a suspended license out of California for failure to appear in court. Police issued the man a summons for driving while license suspended.
