Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited a 45-year-old Anchorage man for sport fishing in closed waters in Deep Creek. A records check also showed he had an outstanding warrant and he was arrested and taken to the Homer Jail.

Wildlife Troopers went to the Anchor River for a report of fishermen fishing during an emergency order closure. Troopers cited a 60-year-old man and a 47-year-old man, both of Homer, for retaining Dolly Varden while fishing in closed waters and a 55-year-old Anchorage man for sport fishing in closed waters.

Wildlife Troopers cited a 35-year-old Anchor Point man for sport fishing in closed waters near the mouth of the Anchor River.

Wildlife Troopers cited a 47-year-old Homer woman for failing to record personal-use caught salmon on her upper Cook Inlet personal-use permit.

Wildlife Troopers cited a 47-year-old Oklahoma man for retaining king salmon caught in the Anchor River while it was closed for king salmon fishing.

Wildlife Troopers cited a 37-year-old man for failing to record personal-use caught salmon on his upper Cook Inlet personal-use permit.

Wildlife Troopers cited a 61-year-old Homer man for failing to record a king salmon greater than 20 inches caught in Kachemak Bay.

Wildlife Troopers cited a 52-year-old Anchorage man for sport fishing in closed waters on the Anchor River.

Wildlife Troopers cited a 41-year-old North Pole man and a 50-year-old Florida man for fishing in closed waters of the Anchor River.

July 23

Wildlife Troopers cited an Arizona man for failure to have a personal floatation device.

Wildlife Troopers cited a California man for sport fishing in closed waters in Stariski Creek above the Sterling Highway Bridge.

July 24

Wildlife Troopers cited a 34-year-old Homer man for failing to submit a hunt report for a 2012 registration goat hunt.

July 26

Troopers at 10:45 p.m. saw a driver in a gold Chevrolet pickup truck cross the road at Mile 169 Sterling Highway and hit a guard rail. Troopers arrested the driver, a 19-year-old Kenai man, for driving recklessly. He was taken to the Homer Jail.

Aug. 2

Alaska Bureau of Highway Patrol Troopers at 10:31 p.m. stopped a 28-year-old Anchorage man for riding his bicycle erratically on Oilwell Road in Ninilchik and impeding traffic. A records check showed the man had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of personal-use fishing in closed waters and he was arrested.

Aug. 3

Highway Patrol troopers at 1:22 a.m. stopped for speeding a 22-year-old Ninilchik man driving a 2002 GMC pickup truck on Oilwell Road in Ninilchik. Troopers arrested the man for driving under the influence.

Highway Patrol troopers at 11:16 p.m. stopped a 61-year-old Ninilchik man for a traffic violation near Milepost 139 Sterling Highway near Ninilchik. Troopers issued the man a citation for driving while license suspended.
