It’s no secret that many people struggle with finishing their holiday shopping on time, often finding the perfect gift at the very last minute. In Homer, that’s where the annual Procrastinators Fair comes in.
Held this year at Christian Community Church on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 20-21, the fair featured over 50 local artists, businesses and organizations as vendors, selling a variety of items including food, artworks, fiber and handicrafts, books, toys and games, and more.
Organizers also facilitated a free crafting and cookie decorating station for kids, a free drawing for a decorated Christmas tree, and free drawings for items donated by vendors present at the fair.
Kids and families also had the opportunity to meet and take photos with Santa on both days of the fair during the afternoon.
Red Eye Rides, the Kenai Peninsula shuttle service which recently expanded into Homer, also provided free transportation for fairgoers from overflow parking at Kachemak Bay Campus to CCC.
