Barney and Wilma are 9-month-old siblings.
Yabba dabba doo! Meet this comical full-of-energy pair. Barney (bottom) is very playful while Wilma (top) is calm, cool and collected, but together: let the fun begin. They were strays and lived their first months outside until coming to the shelter. Both like human engagement and are very curious. In an ideal world the shelter would like them to go together but they are young enough that they will do just fine independently.
To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 235-3141.
