Polly is a 1 to 2-year-old female.

Sometimes black cats get a bad reputation, especially around this time of year, but little Polly here is anything but spooky. She came to the shelter with her kittens and proved to be an outstanding mother. She is so sweet and affectionate. She is healthy and happy and is looking for her forever home.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway.The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m.-4 pm. Saturday-Sunday.
