“You’ve heard of scaredy cats, right? Fortunately for me, I ain’t one of ’em. I’m mellow and adapt easily to new people. I dig meeting people, especially those ones who bring yummy treats. I’m ready for a home of my own? You and me?”

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m.-4 pm. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 235-3141.
