Allow us to introduce you to….Oreo, a 12-year-old spayed female. Hers is a bit of a sad story, but we are confident that this wonderful community will help find her a happy ending. You see, her beloved human passed away and now she has to start over. She’s a beautiful senior kitty with gorgeous long hair and soulful green eyes. She’s got a gentle manner and would like nothing more than a safe, loving place to call home.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m.-4 pm. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 235-3141.
