Look what washed up on the beach last week. Audrey is about a 3-month-old German Shepherd mix. Super sweet, this girl was dumped along with a pair of litter mates and was shivering, dirty and cold, and sick from drinking sea water. Suffice to say she and her brother are happy to have three squares and a cot here at the shelter, but could sure use a real, honest to gosh home.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the city’s Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. For more information, call 235-3141.
