Paige Shubert, of Oakdale, Ill., and Skylar Paul of Marissa, Ill., formerly of Homer, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. Parents of the future bride are Terry and Deb Habrock and the late Craig Shubert of Oakdale, Ill. Mother of the future groom is Rebecca Paul of Homer.

Paige is a 2007 graduate of Okawville High School and a 2011 graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She is currently employed with First National Bank of Dieterich as a loan processor. Skylar is a 2008 graduate of Marissa High School and a 2012 graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He is employed as a chemistry account manager. The couple is planning an August 2014 wedding in Illinois.
