The residents of South Peninsula Hospital’s Long Term Care kick off the Halloween season with “Frankenstein Unplugged,” a locally produced performance starring hospital employees Jim Nestor, Gary Mayforth and numerous residents and staff of the hospital’s long term care. The free performances are at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the hospital’s Long Term Care day room. It is directed by Luzma Alcaraz.
The production takes a comedic twist on the traditional Frankenstein storyline, including humor and live music. This free performance is the second in recent years directed and performed by employees and residents of Long Term Care. In 2012 Alcaraz directed “A Long Term Care Christmas Carol.”
