Lloyd A. “Skip” Mills

Lloyd A. “Skip” Mills, 70, died on Jan. 3, 2019 at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage.

He was born on July 15, 1948 to Armond A. and Lois Mills. He was raised in Homer and attended Homer High School.

He spent most of his life in law enforcement and the fire department. He served in Tanana, Homer, Anchorage, New Mexico, Arizona and elsewhere.

He was a life member of the Anchor Point Senior Center and was a member of the Anchor Point Volunteer Fire Department and American Legion. He was a Vietnam veteran.

Lloyd is survived by two sons; two adopted sons; one adopted daughter; three grandsons; and two granddaughters.

He will be sorely missed by his many friends, nieces and nephews.

By his request, there will be no service or memorial. He was cremated.
