Jenna Lamendola Sitenga of Homer, Alaska and Gregory Alan Aird of Lake Forest, California were married on June 23, 2018 at Saint Mary’s Cathedral in Portland, Oregon.

Their nuptial mass was celebrated by Archbishop Emeritus of Anchorage Roger Schwietz, O.M.I., D.D.

Their destination wedding was witnessed by 160 friends and family, with 140 of their guests traveling from Alaska, Wisconsin, Texas, Utah, California, New York, Arizona, Nebraska, Washington, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Colorado and Japan.

The bride’s brothers, Alfonso and Graison Sitenga, were the men of honor, also serving as groomsmen for their new brother-in-law, Greg. Bridesmaids were sisters of the bride, AnnaMaria Sitenga, Quinlan Sitenga and Salvatora Sitenga, cousins Danielle Towne and Taylor Chalmers, sister-in-law Amanda Aird, and Lei Pele, girlfriend of Alfonso Sitenga. Twin cousins Mia and Andrew Circo served as the flower girl and ring bearer, respectively.

Jenna is a 2012 graduate of Santa Catalina School in Monterey, California and a 2015 graduate of the University of Portland with a magna cum laude bachelor’s degree in biology.

Greg is a 2011 graduate of El Toro High School in Lake Forest, California and a 2015 graduate of Rice University in Houston, Texas with a magna cum laude bachelor’s degree in cognitive science.

Jenna and Greg met during their first week of medical school at Creighton University School of Medicine and were engaged at Christmas, a year later, in Wailea, Maui. They are currently in their fourth and final year of Medical School, living in Phoenix, Arizona and are active in publishing research in their respective fields of interest.

Jenna is the daughter of Dr. Kristine Lamendola-Sitenga and Dr. Garret Sitenga of Homer. Greg is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Bruce Aird of Forest Grove, California.
