Irelynn Jean Poindexter was born at 8:59 a.m. Sept. 11, 2013, at South Peninsula Hospital to Dustin and Danielle Poindexter of Anchor Point. She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces. Her grandparents are Dennis and Karen Tichenor of Soldotna and Craig and Debbie Poindexter of Anchor Point. The baby’s parents write: “Irelynn is eager to return home and put her big brother, Declan, through the paces. She also plans on becoming the first astronaut-judge-freelance photographer to scale Mt. Everest.”
