A caller at 11:03 a.m. reported spruce boughs in the road on the Sterling Highway. Police responded and found a passerby had removed the debris.
A woman at 4:10 p.m. reported seeing a loose dog in the road on East End Road. She said she put the dog on a leash.
The Kenai Police Department at 4:16 p.m. reported a missing juvenile might be in the Homer area. Police issued a “be on the lookout” notice.
A caller at 6 p.m. reported a man passed out in a car with one door on Bonanza Street. Police responded and found the car had mechanical problems.
A harbor officer at 11:52 p.m. reported a hit-and-run crash on the Spit. Police responded and found no injuries.

A man at 7 a.m. reported an expected death at home of a 91-year-old man at his West Hill Road home.
A caller at 1:48 p.m. reported medical fraud.
A man at 1:53 p.m. reported his bicycle was stolen from his Bayview Avenue home.
A man at 4:03 p.m. reported his property had been vandalized.
A woman at 3:45 p.m. turned in a cell phone she found at the dock on Beluga Lake.
A caller at 9:52 a.m. reported a dark Ford pickup truck emitted noxious fumes and smoke as it headed westbound on East End Road.
A caller at 9:42 a.m. reported a possibly drunk man acting strange at Bishop’s Beach. Police responded but could not find the man.
A caller at 10:45 p.m. reported a dead sea otter. Police notified the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
A caller at 11:06 p.m. reported loud noise near Sitka Rose Circle. Police said the noise was due to scheduled construction on the Sterling Highway.
July 10
Police at 2:24 a.m. received an open-line phone call from a Homer Spit Road business. A man and woman could be heard arguing. Police responded.
A man at 9:30 a.m. brought in a backpack found outside McNeil Canyon School. Police returned the pack to its owner.
A caller at 10:40 a.m. reported a driver in a black dump truck with red sides using air-assist brakes when coming down Baycrest Hill on the Sterling Highway.
A woman at 11:44 a.m. reported someone entered her Grubstake Avenue home and locked her out of her computer.
A woman at 12:02 p.m. made a 911 calling asking that police find her father and give him a message.
A man at 3 p.m. made a 911 call that tourists were getting too close to a moose on the Sterling Highway. Police responded and found all was OK.
A caller at 4:23 p.m. reported people in a car shooting paintballs at other cars and pedestrians on the Sterling Highway.
A man at 6:32 p.m. reported losing his fanny pack along the Sterling Highway.
A caller at 8:38 p.m. reported an unwanted person entering a Spit residence.
Police at 11:53 p.m. contacted a 19-year-old man driving on Kramer Lane and arrested him for driving under the influence.
July 11
A man at 12:23 a.m. reported a disturbance at an Ocean Drive business. Police responded and told the subjects to keep the noise down.
A caller at 1:43 a.m. reported a dog without food and water barking outside a Cityview Avenue home. Police responded.
