Police at 9:20 a.m. went to a Lakeshore Drive home for a report of a domestic dispute. Police arrested a 29-year-old man for fourth-degree assault and criminal mischief, both domestic violence related.
A man at 1:18 p.m. reported an open door at a Grubstake Avenue office. Police responded.
A caller at 2:39 p.m. reported a driver swerving in the road and nearly hitting other cars on Lake Street. Police responded.
A woman at 5:20 p.m. reported hearing a crash in her Skyline Drive yard and lights flickering. Police responded. All was OK.
Police at 10:43 p.m. contacted a group of men behind the bathrooms at Ben Walters Park and confiscated drug paraphernalia.
Nov. 8
Police at 12:16 a.m. reported power lines making loud noises at the intersection of Diamond Ridge Road, West Hill Road and Skyline Drive. Homer Electric Association was notified.
Police at 1:03 a.m. made a traffic stop on a 19-year-old man driving on Pioneer Avenue. Police arrested the man on an outstanding warrant.
A man at 11:45 a.m. asked for a welfare check on a family member.
A man at 4:15 p.m. reported he had been assaulted earlier by a family member. Police arrested a 45-year-old woman for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.
A man at 8:17 p.m. reported a single-car crash with entrapment on East Hill Road. Police and medics responded.
A caller at 9:10 p.m. reported a verbal disturbance at a Lake Street address. Police responded. The parties had previously been separated and police issued a trespass notice to one person.
A caller at 9:07 p.m. reported a drunk and unresponsive man on Main Street. Police responded and the man left on foot. Police issued the man a trespass notice.

Police at 1:48 a.m. warned a person for speeding and driving after 1 a.m. on a provisional license.
A man at 9:10 a.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a woman walking on Lakeshore Drive who appeared disoriented. Police responded and provided transportation for the woman.
A caller at 11:29 a.m. reported a boat up on the beach on the Homer Spit. Harbor officers responded.
Police at 10:50 p.m. issued a summons for driving while license revoked and driving in violation of license limitation to a 57-year-old man after contacting him on the Sterling Highway.
A man at 11:15 p.m. came by the police station with a cat he found on the Spit.

A caller at 10:10 a.m. reported theft of equipment from a boat on the Spit.
A woman at 10:42 a.m. turned in a cell phone she found on a trail.
A woman at 12:29 p.m. reported a suspicious man selling magazine subscriptions and trying to collect financial information at an Early Spring Street home.
A caller at 4:19 p.m. reported a stolen cell phone.
Police at 6:30 p.m. warned a taxi driver for speeding and found the driver did not have a chauffeur license and the car did not have a taxi cab inspection. The car was placed out of service.
A 23-year-old man at 7:20 p.m. turned himself in on an outstanding warrant at the police station.

A woman at 9:15 a.m. asked police to do a welfare check on one of her students.
A man at 10:45 a.m. reported a theft from a building on East End Road.
A caller at 12:18 p.m. reported a juvenile made threats at a Sterling Highway address. Police responded.
A woman at 2:56 p.m. reported a suspicious man trying to sell items in the Bay Avenue area.
A caller at 6:29 p.m. reported a landlord-tenant dispute at a Spit address. Police responded.
A caller at 8:01 p.m. reported a suspicious man selling items in the Rangeview Avenue area. Police responded.
A caller at 9 p.m. reported a travel trailer hooking up to city power near Mile 4 Homer Spit Road. Police issued a warning to the trailer’s owner.

A caller at 1:14 a.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a person in a neighboring apartment on Hillview Place due to banging noises being heard. Police responded and found nothing suspicious.
A caller at 5:18 a.m. reported forced entry into an East End Road business. Police responded.
A caller at 7:30 a.m. reported a theft from an East End Road business. Police responded.
A woman at 7:52 a.m. reported after the fact a suspicious man at a Bayview Avenue address.
Police at 12:11 p.m. escorted the volleyball team out of town as they went to Anchorage for a tournament.
A caller at 11:12 a.m. reported a suspicious person going door to door in the Mattox Street area.
A caller at 12:57 p.m. reported a suspicious man going door to door in the Hillfair Court area.
A caller at 3:48 p.m. reported a suspicious person had been at their Hohe Street home earlier.
Police at 4:25 p.m. arrested a 41-year-old man on a probation violation.
Multiple callers at 4:46 p.m. reported suspicious itinerant merchants in the Hohe Street area. Police contacted a suspect and warned the person of peddling without an itinerant license.
A caller at 5:48 p.m. reported a suspicious person at a Calhoun Street home.
A caller at 7:36 p.m. reported a possible scam.
A caller at 8:03 p.m. reported a suspicious vehicle and a car driving down Hohe Street. Police responded and determined the people were a church group collecting canned food for a food drive.
A caller at 11:59 p.m. reported a suicide attempt by a man. Police responded and took the man into protective custody.

A caller at 8 a.m. asked for extra patrols for drivers running flashing red lights near schools in the early morning on East End Road.
A woman at 5:43 p.m. made a 911 call that her daughter was out of control. Police responded.
Nov. 14
A caller at 1:13 a.m. reported an escalating dispute at a Fairview Avenue address. Police responded and arrested a 48-year-old man for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.
A woman at 1:48 a.m. reported a stolen and forged check.
A woman at 9:16 a.m. reported an
electrical cord cut at a Kachemak Way address.
A man at 4:52 p.m. reported an assault after the fact.
A woman at 5:15 p.m. reported a payroll dispute with her employer. Police referred her to the Alaska Department of Labor.
Nov. 15
A caller at 10:55 a.m. reported hearing banging and yelling noises at a Fairvew Avenue home. Police responded and found all was OK.
A caller at 11:29 a.m. reported a burglary at an East End Road business.
A person at 11 p.m. made a 911 call of a dispute at a Klondike Avenue address. Police took a 65-year-old man to the hospital for protective custody and issued a disorderly conduct warning to a woman.
Police at 8:55 p.m. served a search warrant at a Sterling Highway address.

A caller at 1:50 p.m. reported a burglary at a Rene Court address.
A caller at 7:55 p.m. reported possible drug activity on Ben Walters Lane.
A caller at 7:30 p.m. reported a motor-
home illegally plugged in to city electric service near Mile 4 Homer Spit Road. Police responded and issued a trespass notice from the camping area.
Nov. 17
A man at 4:13 a.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a coworker. Police went to the coworker’s home and made contact with the person.
A caller at 11:03 a.m. reported someone entered a Spit business and stole items.
Police at 2:10 p.m. arrested a 19-year-old woman, a 25-year-old man, a 23-year-old man and a 20-year-old man for unlawful contact. Police also charged the 23-year-old man for criminal mischief.
An employee at 3:47 p.m. reported boys shoplifting at a Main Street store.
A man at 9:20 p.m. reported a lost dog in the Bear Creek Drive area.
Police at 9:43 p.m. warned a driver for driving the wrong way on a one-way street at Homer High School.
An employee at 10:19 p.m. reported a man shoplifted at a Pioneer Avenue store and fled. Police contacted the man and arrested him for fourth-degree theft.
