A U.S. Coast Guard official at 3:51 p.m. reported a distress signal received from a boat parked on land near Mile .5 Homer Spit Road. Police could not find the boat.
Nov. 27
A worker at 11:15 a.m. reported a person had shoplifted at a Lake Street store on Nov. 19.
A man at 3 p.m. reported an attempted break-in at a Pennock Street home. Police responded.
A worker at 5:40 p.m. asked police to issue a trespass notice to a man from a Lake Street business. Police later contacted the man at 12:19 p.m. Nov. 28 and issued the notice.
A woman at 9:21 p.m. made a 911 call asking for help at her Ocean Drive home with her angry adult son.
Nov. 28
A man at 3:21 a.m. made a 911 call saying he was concerned his mother might hurt herself. Police responded to the man’s Ocean Drive home and found all was OK.
A woman at 3:24 p.m. reported a theft from her Ternview Place home.
A worker at 3:51 p.m. reported a shoplifting incident at a Lake Street store.
A man at 11:06 p.m. reported items taken from a car parked on Pioneer Avenue.
Nov. 29
A bus driver at 9:15 a.m. reported a driver in a car passed a bus with flashing red lights on East End Road near Ronda Street. The license number given didn’t match the vehicle description.
A man at 11 a.m. reported a laptop computer and backpack stolen from a car parked on Beluga Circle.
A man at 1:43 p.m. made a 911 call of a fire hydrant flooding on Bunnell Avenue. Police advised Public Works.
A woman at 3:52 p.m. made a 911 call of a domestic disturbance at a Saltwater Drive address. Police responded and separated the parties for the night.
A person at 3:52 p.m. made a “report every dangerous driver immediately” complaint of a person driving on Pioneer Avenue. Police stopped the suspect driver, a 59-year-old man, and issued him summonses for driving without a license and no vehicle insurance.
A person at 11:16 p.m. reported a driver swerving into the other lane near Mile 171 Sterling Highway. No license number was given and police couldn’t find the driver.
