A person at 10:31 a.m. made a 911 call and police could hear a child in the background. Police called back and the child’s grandmother said all was OK — the child had been trying to access a game on the phone.
A caller at 11:15 a.m. reported a theft from a car parked near Mile 1 Kachemak Drive.
A caller at 6:04 p.m. reported a theft from a Kachemak Drive yard.
Several people at 10:38 p.m. made 911 calls of a disturbance on Bartlett Street. Police responded and transported a woman from the scene.
A man at 10:48 p.m. reported a theft from his Rochelle Road apartment.
Jan. 26
Police at 7:48 a.m. issued warnings to cars parked on the side of Homer roads and impeding maintenance.
A caller at 6:10 p.m. reported a violation of a temporary restraining order at a Ben Walters Lane address. Police responded and arrested a 25-year-old man on a TRO violation.
A woman at 6:15 p.m. reported a civil issue. An officer advised her of her options.
Jan. 27
A woman at 2:28 a.m. made a 911 call reporting suspicious sounds on the roof of her Lakeshore Drive home. Police responded and provided the woman transportation to South Peninsula Hospital.
A caller at 8:59 a.m. reported receiving a suspicious text message.
A person at 3:29 p.m. reported a driver failed to stop properly for a school bus on East End Road near Ben Walters Lane.
A caller at 3:44 p.m. reported a wanted subject leaving the high school.
Jan. 28
Police at 4:33 a.m. contacted a 40-year-old woman driving on Ben Walters Lane and arrested her for driving while license revoked and not having proof of insurance.
A caller at 7:08 a.m. reported a man who had previously been issued a trespass warning from a Sterling Highway business was at the business. Police responded but could not find the man.
A caller at 2:49 p.m. asked that a man be issued a trespass notice from a Bonanza Avenue home. Police responded and issued the trespass notice.
A caller at 3:10 p.m. reported a shoplifter left a Pioneer Avenue store. Police responded and contacted a man. Police advised the man he was trespassed from the store.
Jan. 29
A caller at 8:04 a.m. asked police to do a welfare check on his son.
A caller at 9:50 a.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a friend. Police told the caller the friend was in jail. All was OK.
A caller at 11:02 a.m. reported a car was stolen from a Sterling Highway parking lot. The car was later recovered.
Police at 11:41 a.m. contacted a 25-year-old man at a Pennock Street address and arrested him on outstanding warrants.
A man at 1:26 p.m. made a “report every dangerous driver immediately” complaint of a driver who pulled out in front of him on Kachemak Drive near East End Road. The driver appeared impaired when confronted.
Police at 3:54 p.m. contacted a 28-year-old woman on Main Street and arrested her on multiple warrants.
A 25-year-old man at 5:10 p.m. turned himself in on an outstanding warrant.
A caller at 5:24 p.m. asked that a person be trespassed from a Lake Street home.
A person at 6:30 p.m. reported a lost purse.
A caller at 7:13 p.m. reported a disturbance with another motorist on Fireweed Lane.
Police at 7:43 p.m. assisted medics at Pioneer Avenue near the Poopdeck Trail.
A caller at 10:35 p.m. reported a man acting aggressively toward a woman and children on Lee Drive. Police responded and determined no crime had been articulated.
Jan. 30
Police at 12:41 a.m. assisted medics at a Sterling Highway address.
Police at 1:24 a.m. arrested a 54-year-old man for disorderly conduct at a Bartlett Street address.
A caller at 4:30 p.m. reported a person drove across a lawn and caused damage at a Forest Glen Drive address.
Several people at 4:38 p.m. made 911 calls of people fighting on Blue Sky Avenue. Police responded and arrested a 28-year-old man for three counts of second-degree assault and one count of third-degree assault and a 27-year-old woman for second-degree assault and fourth-degree assault. Some counts were domestic violence related.
A woman at 6:08 p.m. reported someone struck and damaged her car while it was parked at a Sterling Highway lot on Jan. 29.
A caller at 8:12 p.m. reported a dispute at a Danview Avenue address. Police responded and separated the parties for the night.
A caller at 8:39 p.m. reported multiple drivers failed to stop at a stop sign on Bartlett Street.
Police at 10:15 p.m. did a patrol request on Pennock Street and told a subject to move along.
Jan. 31
Police at 2 a.m. tried to make a traffic stop on a 40-year-old man driving on Elderberry Drive. The man eluded police but was eventually stopped. Police arrested the man for eluding, reckless driving, driving while license revoked, failure to report an accident and resisting arrest.
A caller at 10:28 a.m. passed on information that might be of interest to law enforcement.
A caller at 11:05 a.m. reported a theft from a car on Ben Walters Lane.
A caller at 11:26 a.m. reported hearing gunshots in the Mount Augustine Drive area. Police responded but could not find the source.
Police at 3:20 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 23-year-old man on East End Road and issued him a summons for driving while license suspended.
Feb. 1
Police at 2:52 p.m. attempted to serve a subpoena on a person at a Clarice Way address. Police did not find the person.
Police at 3:35 p.m. received a 911 call from a Bonanza Avenue address. A woman could be heard talking on the phone and a child in the background. Police called the number back and found all was OK. A child had been playing with an old cell phone.
A caller at 6:45 p.m. reported a person made suicidal threats.
A person at 7:10 p.m. made a 911 call of a suspicious person in a car with the engine running periodically parked in front of the caller’s Svedlund Street home. Police responded.
A caller at 10:25 p.m. asked police to help with a disruptive patient at South Peninsula Hospital. Police responded and took a man into protective custody at the Homer Jail.
