Galen and Arlene Gordon

Congratulations to Galen and Arlene Gordon on their 60th wedding anniversary.

They were married on Aug. 15, 1958 at Christian Community Church in Homer, Alaska.

Galen, at the time, was in the service at Fort Richardson and Arlene was a teacher at Elmendorf Air Force Base.

After getting married they spent a week at Mount McKinley. Galen and Arlene moved back to Homer, where Galen grew up, and have been living here since 1966.

Galen has been very involved with the Alaska Bible Institute and Arlene was a kindergarten teacher for over 36 years at both Paul Banks Elementary and Christian Community Church.
