Old and New, by Michael Murray

Watercolor artist Michael Murray has been creating artwork since a child and has both informal and formal training, earning both a bachelor of science degree and a master of science with an art emphasis. A former teacher and principal, Murray has always advocated for art in education as a “basic part of one’s overall learning process,” he said. Murray also is a founding member of the Kachemak Bay Watercolor Society and a member of the Alaska Watercolor Society. His work is widely known on the Kenai Peninsula.
