Firefighters at 2:18 p.m. put out an unattended campfire at Bishop’s Beach that was in the grass.

Firefighters at 10:33 p.m. went to a report of a large column of black smoke near Kachemak Drive and East End Road. They found a man burning other products than wood and paper in his yard without a permit. Firefighters helped the man put out the burn pile.
