A caller at 3:08 p.m. asked for police help in finding a missing woman in the Eagle View Drive area.
A woman at 5:59 p.m. reported locking herself and her child out of her Skyline Drive home and asked for help. Police responded and made entry.
A person at 9:28 p.m. made a 911 call of an assault at a Bay Vista Court home. Police responded.
Feb. 7
A caller at 9:14 a.m. reported after the fact hearing suspicious noises at an Aurora Court address. Police advised the caller to report suspicious noises while happening.
A caller at 9:58 a.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a person at a Lake Street address. Police responded but the person was gone on arrival.
A caller at 10:23 a.m. reported a driver in a vehicle with dark-tinted windows and also vehicles emitting black exhaust smoke.
A caller at 10:38 a.m. reported a theft from a vehicle parked on the Spit.
A caller at 10:45 a.m. reported a person driving with a suspended license and expired registration.
A caller at 1:24 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a person at an Alm Lane address. Police responded and found all was OK.
A caller at 1:33 p.m. reported a moose with an injury on Orion Circle. Police advised another agency to respond. The moose was put down and a charity contacted to salvage the meat.
A caller at 3:32 p.m. asked for police assistance at a Soundview Avenue address. Police responded.
A woman at 10 p.m. flagged down an officer on Heath Street and asked for help finding a missing juvenile. The juvenile later contacted the woman by phone.
Police at 10:50 p.m. issued a citation to a driver for driving while license suspended after contacting the driver on Jake’s Little Fireweed Lane.
Feb. 8
A caller at 3:49 a.m. reporting hearing a possible disturbance on Bay Avenue. Police responded and told the subjects to quiet down.
The Kenai Parole Office at 11 a.m. asked police to contact a person at a Lakeshore Drive address. Police contacted the person and advised the person to call the parole office.
A man at 11:15 a.m. reported being harassed. Police advised the man of his options.
A caller at 1:18 p.m. reported a domestic dispute at a Bunnell Avenue address. Police responded and determined the dispute was verbal only and no crime committed.
A caller at 2:51 p.m. reported a man on the roof of a Pioneer Avenue building. Police responded and advised juveniles to stay off the roof.
A caller at 3:45 p.m. reported a stolen vehicle plate.
A person at 7:31 p.m. made a 911 call reported a man acting aggressively and trying to hurt them at a Bunnell Avenue address. Police responded and separated the parties.
A caller at 10:24 p.m. reported hearing a gun shot in the Klondike Avenue area.
A person at 11:30 p.m. made a 911 call of an unattended death at a Bay Vista Court home. Police and medics responded and found that a 25-year-old man had died. Police said there was no sign of foul play.
Feb. 9
A person at 3:40 p.m. and then another person at 3:50 p.m. came to the station with found property.
A caller at 4:03 p.m. reported a vehicle in the ditch with a man inside off Highland Drive. Police responded and found all was OK.
A caller at 4:46 p.m. reported a shoplifter left a Sterling Highway store. Police contacted the subject.
Police at 5:01 p.m. contacted a person driving on Pioneer Avenue and advised the driver of a cancelled license.
A caller at 7:05 p.m. reported a child not properly restrained in a vehicle on Hazel Avenue.
Feb. 10
A person at 8:28 a.m. made a 911 call of a vehicle in the ditch on West Hill Road. Police responded and found all was OK.
A caller at 5:10 p.m. reported a theft.
A caller at 7:52 p.m. made a “report every dangerous driver immediately” complaint of a drunk driver heading east on Pioneer Avenue. Police responded.
A jail officer at 9:34 p.m. reported an inmate destroyed property at the Homer Jail. Police charged a 38-year-old man with criminal mischief.
A person at 10:14 p.m. made a 911 of a REDDI driver on the Sterling Highway. Police responded but could not find the driver.
Feb. 11
A caller at 10:25 a.m. reported a civil issue regarding snow plowing and removal on Klondike Avenue. Police responded.
Police at 11:51 a.m. provided escort for the Winter Carnival Parade.
A caller at 4:14 p.m. made a REDDI complaint of a driver on the Sterling Highway near Mile 167. Police contacted the driver and did not find any impairment.
Several callers at 6:58 p.m. reported a large amount of water running down East End Road.
A caller at 9:45 p.m. reported bicycles stolen from a Pioneer Avenue address.
Feb. 12
A caller at 8:16 a.m. reported a disturbance at a Klondike Avenue address.
A caller at 8:26 a.m. asked for help finding a stolen vehicle on the Spit. Police responded but could not find the vehicle.
A person at 1:51 p.m. made a 911 call with a REDDI complaint of a driver on East End Road. Police responded but could not see any impaired drivers.
A person at 4:36 p.m. made a 911 call of a person possibly having seizures at a Rangeview Avenue address. Police responded and took the person to South Peninsula Hospital.
A caller at 7:34 p.m. reported a suspicious person at a Sterling Highway business. Police responded and escorted a man from the business and issued him a trespass warning.
A caller at 8:45 p.m. came to the station with a question about leash laws. Police were not available at the time and later tried to call the person back.
A person at 9:40 p.m. made a 911 call asking for help finding the source of an unknown sound in the Lee Drive area. Police responded.
Troopers
Feb. 8
Alaska State Troopers at 3:10 p.m. went to a two-vehicle crash near Mile 7 North Fork Road. Troopers said a vehicle driven by a 39-year-old Nikolaevsk man failed to make a curve on North Fork Road, went into the oncoming lane, and hit a vehicle driven by a 44-year-old Nikolaevsk man. All occupants wore seat belts and did not report injuries. Troopers cited the 39-year-old man for speeding.
Feb. 9
Troopers at 12:37 p.m. arrested a 39-year-old Ninilchik woman on an outstanding warrant on an original charge of driving under the influence.
Feb. 10
Troopers at 7:09 p.m. went to a disturbance on Greer Road in Homer. Troopers said a 38-year-old man assaulted girlfriend by restraining her and pinning her to the ground; he also tried to keep the alleged victim from leaving the home. Troopers arrested the man for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence. Homer Police later charged him with criminal mischief after police said the inmate damaged property.
Feb. 11
Troopers at 3:17 a.m. contacted a 44-year-old Homer man near Mile 151 Sterling Highway after the vehicle he was in ran out of gas. Troopers said an investigation showed the man was on probation with conditions not to consume alcohol, but that he had consumed alcohol when contacted. Troopers arrested the man on a probation violation.

Judgments
Peter P. Basargin, 28, charge dismissed, fourth-degree theft.
Michael J. Goodie II, 30, charges dismissed, refusal to submit to a chemical test, fourth-degree misconduct involving weapons. He pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was fined $4,000 with $1,000 suspended and sentenced to 30 days in jail with 10 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $1,467 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; ordered to forfeit weapon seized as evidence; had his driver’s license revoked for one year; and was placed on probation for two years.
Lawrence M. Hill, 64, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree theft. He was fined $500 and ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund.
Criminal Court
David Vetterkind, 55, Anchor Point, driving under the influence.
Kenneth Ogle, 42, Anchor Point, driving while license cancelled, suspended, revoked or limited.
Jacob J. Stough, 27, first-degree burglary, a felony; fourth-degree assault, two counts.
