Officers at 12:55 p.m. attempted to make a warrant arrest at Mile 4 Spit Road but were unable to locate the suspect.
A caller at 2:24 p.m. reported a theft on Lake Street. An officer went to the location and arrested a 24-year-old woman on charges of forgery, theft, criminal impersonation, resisting arrest and violating conditions of release.
An officer at 2:54 p.m. assisted with a vehicle partially blocking the roadway on East End Road.
Officers at 7 p.m. assisted Kenai Adult Probations with a warrant arrest on Heath Street.
Officers at 8:20 p.m. contacted a vehicle in a parking lot on Spit Road and ended up calling Ace Towing to have the vehicle impounded.
An officer at 9 p.m. made a security check on Spit Road and advised a man encountered there about camping regulations.
A caller at 11:06 p.m. reported a case of vehicle theft on Homer Bypass Road. It turned out a family member had the vehicle and all was OK.
A caller at 11:21 p.m. reported an intoxicated man without clothing on in a business on Spit Road. Officers arrested the 43-year-old man for disorderly conduct and trespassing.
June 13
A caller at 4:29 a.m. reported that a man had assaulted her on Svedlund Street. Officers went to the location and arrested a 42-year-old man for assault.
A caller at 8:37 a.m. requested a welfare check on a man acting strangely at Mile 4 Spit Road. An officer went to the location, contacted the man and found all was OK. The officer advised the man to move along.
A caller at 9:08 a.m. reported a theft from a home on Spit Road. An officer responded to the location.
A caller at 10:22 a.m. made a Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately (REDDI) report on a vehicle at Greatland Street and the Sterling Highway. An officer located the vehicle unoccupied in a parking lot.
A caller at 4:10 p.m. reported a disabled vehicle in the roadway at Ocean Drive and Ocean Driver Loop. An officer went to the scene and found all was OK. The vehicle was able to be driven off the roadway.
A caller at 5:45 p.m. reported a suspicious vehicle with no license plates at Mile 0.5 Spit Road. An officer went to the scene and found all was OK.
A caller at 6:17 p.m. reported a shoplifter after the fact on Greatland street, and reported subsequent attempted shoplifting by that same person. An officer contacted the man in question and advised him to stay away from the business. A shoplifting investigation is ongoing.
A caller at 8:03 p.m. reported that a vehicle stuck traffic cones and then took off at Mile 3 Spit Road. An officer contacted the driver and detected no impairment.
June 14
A caller at 4:53 a.m. made a noise complaint and reported a possible domestic dispute on Rangeview Avenue. An officer went to the location.
Multiple callers at 5:44 a.m. reported a man yelling on West Fairview Avenue. An officer went to the location.
Multiple callers at 8:32 a.m. made a REDDI report on a reckless driver at East Hill Road and East End Road. An officer contacted the driver.
A caller at 10:55 a.m. requested that three men be issued a trespass notice to keep them from his property on East Bunnell Avenue. An officer later contacted the men and advised them of the trespass notice.
A caller at 5:15 p.m. reported a man recklessly brandishing a firearm in public on Bishop’s Beach. An officer went to the scene and warned the man about the issue.
A caller at 8:09 p.m. reported that a dog that had been running in the roadway on East End Road had been struck by a vehicle. The dog had run off but was still loose in the area. Officers advised the animal control office.
A caller at 7:43 p.m. reported catching a man siphoning gas from his vehicle on Spit Road. The caller said the man fled in his own vehicle. An officer later contacted the suspect and arrested the 27-year-old man for theft, violating conditions of release, eluding an officer and escape.
A caller at 8:20 p.m. reported a woman sending suicidal texts in the Homer area. An officer made contact with the woman and found she was staying with a friend for the night.
June 15
A caller at 5:29 a.m. reported a disturbance at a home on Ben Walters Lane. An officer went to the scene and contacted the people involved.
A business on Lake Street reported a shoplifter in custody at 6:03 p.m. An officer went to the scene and issued the 31-year-old woman a summons for shoplifting.
A caller at 6:28 p.m. reported hearing screaming coming from a home on April Place. An officer went to the scene and found there was a verbal altercation only. The people involved had already been separated.
An officer at 11:29 p.m. gave a driver a warning for having expired registration on Spit Road.
June 16
An officer at 12:15 a.m. made a traffic stop at Rogers Loop and the Sterling Highway that resulted in the arrest of a 52-year-old man for driving under the influence and misconduct involving weapons.
A caller at 12:50 p.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle at Main Street and Homer Bypass Road for reckless driving. An officer responded to the area but was unable to locate the driver.
A person at 2:26 p.m. requested a welfare check on Calhoun Court. An officer went to the scene.
A caller at 5:35 p.m. reported a person making threats of physical harm on Ocean Driver. The two people involved had not been separated. An officer went to the scene, and one of the people involved requested that a man be given a trespass notice to keep him from the property.
A caller at 8:15 p.m. reported a man acting erratically on the roadside at mile 0.25 Kachemak Drive. An officer went to the location for a welfare check.
A caller at 9:29 p.m. requested police presence for a man making threats on Ocean Drive. An officer went to the scene and found the claim was unfounded.

Officers at 12:53 a.m. arrested a 27-year-old man on an outstanding warrant on East Pioneer Avenue.
A caller at 1:35 a.m. requested a welfare check on a man walking in the middle on the street at Mile 3 Spit Road. An officer went to the location but was unable to locate the man.
A caller at 2:44 p.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle at Mile 168 Sterling Highway. An officer responded to the location.
A caller at 3:31 p.m. requested assistance asking a driver of another vehicle to move along on East Pioneer Avenue. An officer went to the scene but was unable to locate the vehicle in question.
June 18
A man at 3:56 a.m. went to the police station to report a suspicious person camping in a public restroom at Bartlett Street and Pioneer Avenue. An officer went to the scene and contacted the person there.
A caller at 10:01 a.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle at Pioneer Avenue and Homer Bypass Road. An officer went to the scene and contacted the driver. The officer detected no impairment, and warned the person about their driving habits.
A man at 10:14 a.m. went to the police station to make a report of “crimes against humanity.” An officer spoke with the man and advised him of his options.
An officer at 12:31 p.m. made a traffic stop at Main Street and Danview Avenue. In the course of that traffic stop the officer ended up providing assistance to a citizen.
Multiple callers at 1:52 p.m. reported a man jumping into the roadway at Ocean Drive and Ocean Driver Loop. An officer responded to the area.
A caller at 2:24 p.m. requested assistance for a suicidal person at Pennock Street and Lakeside Drive.
A caller at 9:39 p.m. reported two vehicles driving on private property on Skyline Drive. Officers went to the location and ended up arresting one 26-year-old man on an arrest warrant.
June 19
A caller at 12:31 a.m. reported a domestic dispute on West Fairview Avenue. The people involved were separated. Officers later responded to the scene and contacted the people involved. They ended up arresting one 25-year-old woman for domestic violence related assault.
A caller at 3:06 a.m. requested a welfare check for a person on East Hill Road. An officer went to the location and found all was OK.
Troopers
June 16
Alaska State Troopers of Anchor Point issued a citation to a 22-year-old Caldwell, Idaho man at the Homer Lagoon for king salmon fishing as a non-resident without a king salmon stamp. Bail is set at $210 on the Homer Court.
