A driver at 8:59 a.m. was warned for speeding in a school zone at Glen View and the Sterling Highway.
A 52-year-old driver at 10:58 a.m. was issued a summons for driving without license or registration on the Sterling Highway.
A caller at 4:16 p.m. reported a shoplifter in custody at a local business on Lake Street. A 69-year-old woman was issued a summons for fourth-degree theft.
A local business at 4:46 p.m. reported shoplifting at its Lake Street store after the fact. The same 69-year-old female was issued another summons for fourth-degree theft.
A caller at 4:48 p.m. reported someone had passed a counterfeit bill at a local business on Ben Walters Lane. An officer went to the location.
Dec. 6
A caller at 12:53 a.m. reported a woman causing a disturbance on East Pioneer Avenue. Officers responded to the location, and a group was given a disorderly conduct warning.
A caller at 3:49 a.m. reported a vehicle that was involved in a motor accident earlier at East End Road and Kachemak Drive was not completely off the roadway. An officer went to the area.
A caller at 6:45 a.m. reported an excessive amount of water running across the road at East Fairview Avenue and Calhoun Court. Public Works was notified.
A caller at 7:07 a.m. reported a vehicle parked in the roadway at East Fairview Avenue and Calhoun Court. An officer was advised and a warning was left on the vehicle.
A caller at 1:02 p.m. reported an accident in a parking lot on Bartlett Street.
A caller at 3:42 p.m. reported a overdue child at a Hazel Avenue address. Officers responded to the area.
Dec. 7
A caller at 11:53 a.m. reported a vehicle in the ditch and occupants still inside on Sabrina Road.
A man at 8:02 p.m. was served a protective order on Heath Street.
Dec. 8
A caller at 5:55 a.m. made a Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately (REDDI) report about a possibly intoxicated driver on the Homer Bypass. An officer responded to the scene.
A caller at 5:58 a.m. reported a car alarm going off on East Pioneer Avenue. An officer responded to the scene and found that all was OK.
A caller at 11:47 a.m. reported a motor vehicle accident in a parking lot on Ocean Drive.
An officer at 7:41 p.m. arrested a 20-year-old man on a warrant on Frisbee Court.
A driver at 11:47 p.m. was given a citation for a motor vehicle accident/operating violation on West Pioneer Avenue.
Dec. 9
A caller at A caller at 6:26 p.m. reported a person trying to break into cars on Ben Walters Lane and requested patrols for the area. An officer responded to the area.
A caller at 9:38 p.m. reported suicidal ideations on Aspen Lane. An officer responded to the scene and transportation was provided for the person to a medical facility.
A caller at 10:40 p.m. reported juveniles rolling a tire down the street at Heath Street and Grubstake Avenue. An officer contacted the minors, the tire was returned and transportation was provided for the minors.
Dec. 10
A caller at 12:02 a.m. reported a loud party at Lakeshore Drive and A Street. An officer responded to the scene and advised the revellers to keep the noise down.
A caller at 9:35 a.m. reported a man yelling at a dog on Main Street and causing a disturbance. An officer spoke with the man.
Dec. 11
Officers at 12:09 a.m. assisted a caller with a child locked in a vehicle on Nelson Avenue.
A driver at 8:54 a.m. was warned for speeding in a school zone on the Sterling Highway.
Officers at 9:13 p.m. arrested a 25-year-old woman on an outstanding warrant on Lake Street.
Troopers
Nov. 27
Alaska State Troopers at 12:27 p.m. received a report of harassing communications from a local business staff member. The staff member reported one of their clients had been leaving threatening and sexual messages on the business voicemail. The investigation is ongoing.
Dec. 1
Alaska State Troopers at about 9 a.m. responded to a report of a damaged vehicle on Fishhook Road in Ninilchik. An investigation showed someone had broken the window out of the truck and attempted to steal the vehicle. The person(s) also forced entry into the unoccupied residence, trailers on the property, a workshop, and stole numerous items. The investigation has developed a suspect and troopers have recovered numerous stolen items. The investigation is ongoing.
Dec. 6
Alaska State Troopers at about 12:50 a.m. responded to a motor vehicle crash on the Sterling Highway near the south end of North Fork Road. An investigation showed a vehicle being driven by a 57-year-old Ninilchik man had lost control on the icy roads and went into the ditch where it rolled at least once. One of the occupants was ejected from the vehicle. The driver and his four passengers were transported to the local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Three of the passengers were cited for failing to wear seat belts.
Alaska State Troopers at 10:19 p.m. responded to a report of a disturbance on Burlwood Lane in Ninilchik. An investigation showed a 44-year-old Ninilchik woman had assaulted her boyfriend. She was arrested and remanded into the Homer Jail.
Dec. 7
Alaska State Troopers at approximately 11 a.m. received a report from a local business that a man had made threatening statements while speaking to an employee. The employee stated the threats made them believe the man was going to harm people at the business. Anchor Point Troopers contacted the 45-year-old Nikolaevsk man at his residence and arrested him. During his arrest the man became combative and resisted arrest. He was transported to and remanded into the Homer Jail.

Judgments
Bailey M Crocker, 31, charge dismissed, second-degree criminal trespass.
Gabriel D. M. Mortera, 25, charges dismissed, fourth-degree assault, and in another case, third-degree assault.
Derek C. Ball, 32, charge dismissed, fourth-degree assault. Ball pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal mischief. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail or on monitoring with 10 days suspended and fined $1,000 with $750 suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a suspended jail charge of $100; placed on probation for one year; and ordered to not have contact with his victim. He also pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in another case. He was fined $2,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 30 days in jail with 27 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $66 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his driver’s license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for one year.
Labyron D. Black, 24, charge dismissed, disorderly conduct. He pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal trespass and was sentenced to 10 days in jail or on monitoring with 10 days suspended and fined $150 with nothing suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; placed on probation for one year; and ordered not to have contact with the Alibi Bar.
Scott StClair, 48, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid operators license. He was fined $150 with nothing suspended and ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund.
Daniel J. Tonty, 54, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal mischief. He was sentenced to serve 30 days with 30 days suspended and fined $500 with $300 suspended; ordered to pay resititution in an amount to be determined, $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a suspended $100 jail surcharge; and placed on probation for one year.
Criminal Court
Contessa L. H. Swearingin, 44, fourth-degree assault.
Nick Nelson, 52, driving with license canceled, revoked or suspended if for a DUI.
Ruby E. Frazier, 69, concealing merchandise, two counts in two separate cases.
Derek Z. T. Jokay-Szilagyi, 45, second-degree terroristic threatening, and resisting arrest.
