A caller at 4:13 p.m. reported an alarm activated on East Pioneer Road. An officer went to the scene.
May 1
An officer at 1:11 a.m. made a security check at Pioneer Avenue and Bartlett Street. The officer transported a woman to a facility.
An alarm company at 3:52 a.m. reported an alarm going off on Heath Street. Officers responded to the location and found it was a false alarm.
A caller at 12:38 p.m. requested a welfare check on East End Road. An officer went to the home in question and found all was OK.
A person at 1:06 p.m. went to the police station for court-ordered fingerprinting.
A caller at 2:40 p.m. requested a welfare check on a family member on Lake Street. An officer contacted the person and brought them to South Peninsula Hospital.
An officer at 5:43 p.m. warned a driver for being in violation of their provisional license provision at Bartlett Street and Spruceview Avenue.

A caller at 8:29 a.m. reported parking on the street on Mattox Road. An officer issued a parking warning.
Officers at 9 a.m. made a public appearance for Project Drive at Homer High School.
Officers at 11:48 a.m. again made an appearance for Project Drive at Homer High School.
A caller at 12:41 p.m. requested officer assistance on Bartlett Street. An officer responded to the scene.
A caller at 10:47 p.m. reported a man in need of medical assistance on the Homer Bypass. An officer and medics responded to the scene.
May 4
A caller at 9:15 a.m. reported a temporary restraining order violation on East End Road. An officer responded to the scene.
A caller at 1:38 p.m. reported an altercation between and man and a woman walking at Pioneer Avenue and Bartlett Street. An officer went to the scene, where both people denied there was any criminal activity.
A caller at 3:27 p.m. requested a welfare check and transportation for a man at a business on the Homer Bypass. An officer went to the scene.
A business at 4:45 p.m. reported people digging in their dumpster and taking items. The business on Ohlson Lane requested extra police patrols.
A caller at 7:39 p.m. reported a sink hole developing on the shoulder of the road at East End Road and Kachemak Drive. Officers and the proper agency were notified.
A caller at 9:19 p.m. reported people trespassing on Rene Court. A second caller then reporter people being threatened. An officer advised the caller of their options.
May 5
A caller at noon made a Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately (REDDI) report on a vehicle that was crossing the center and fog lines at Mile 169 Sterling Highway. an officer contacted the driver and noted no impairment. The officer found a dog had been distracting the driver, and the pet was moved to the back seat.
A caller at 12:16 p.m. reported a possible sighting of a wanted person on Ocean Driver. An officer responded to the area and found it was not the person in question.
A business at 2:33 p.m. reporte a suspicious vehicle in its parking lot on the Sterling Highway. An officer went to the scene and asked the people in the vehicle to move along and not return for the rest of the day.
A caller at 6:14 p.m. reported a suspicious vehicle parked in the roadway at Skyline Drive and Don’s Drive. An officer went to the location.
A caller at 8:41 p.m. reported a dead sea otter on the beach on the Homer Spit. An officer and the proper agency were notified.
A caller at 8:48 p.m. reported a suspicious vehicle parked on the roadway on Main Street. An officer went to the location and found the call was unfounded.
A caller at 9:15 p.m. reported a woman causing a disturbance on East End Road. Officers arrested the 35-year-old woman for violating probation.
May 6
An officer at 12:42 a.m. issued a traffic warning to a driver for having expire registration at East End Road and Kachemak Drive.
A caller at 4:55 a.m. reported an intoxicated man refusing to leave a business on the Sterling Highway. An officer provided the man transportation.
A caller at 7:20 a.m. reported an intoxicated man at a business on the Homer Bypass who was refusing to leave. An officer contacted the man and advised him to leave and not return to the business for the rest of the day.
A caller at 8 a.m. reported that a dog had been barking for several hours in the early morning on Early Spring Street. An officer went to the scene and the incident was forwarded to the animal control office.
An officer at 8:51 a.m. contacted a man digging in a dumpster on Ocean Drive. The man left the area.
A caller at 10:14 a.m. reported concern for a home with its door wide open on Beluga Circle. An officer went to the scene and found all was OK.
A caller at 12:56 p.m. reported an assault on Kachemak Drive. An officer went to the scene and the case is under investigation.
A caller at 4:25 p.m. made an after-the-fact report of a homeless man sleeping in heavy equipment on their property on the Homer Bypass. The caller requested extra patrols.
A caller at 4:58 p.m. reported people trespassing on property on Kachemak Way. Officers contacted the people and found all was OK.
A caller at 5:20 p.m. reported a disabled vehicle blocking the roadway at Homer Bypass and Pioneer Avenue. An officer went to the scene and the vehicle was removed from the road.
A caller at 6:10 p.m. reported possibly hearing a woman crying in the neighboring area around Alder Lane. An officer went to the area.
A caller at 8:16 p.m. reported a loose horse near the roadway at Mile 171 Sterling Highway. An officer responded to the area but was unable to locate the horse.
A caller at 10:35 p.m. reported an intoxicated man stumbling into the roadway at East End Road and East Hill Road. An officer went to the location.
May 7
An officer at 12:14 a.m. advised a man to not ride his bicycle while intoxicated at Lake Street and Pioneer Avenue.
A caller at 1:23 a.m. reported a young woman riding a bicycke in the roadway at East End Road and Ben Walters Lane. An officer contacted the woman and found all was OK.
An officer at 1:53 a.m. gave a minor male a citation for possessing or consuming while underaged.
An officer at 8:05 a.m. assisted Alaska State Troopers in trying to locate a wanted subject on West Fairview Avenue. They were unable to locate the person.
A caller at 12:57 p.m. reported a break in after the fact that had happened on Bartlett Street. An officer went to the scene.
A caller at 2:18 p.m. reported harassment on East Fairview Avanue. An officer responded to the scene.
A caller at 2:50 p.m. reported someone camping in a non-designated area on East End Road. An officer went to the scene.
A caller at 3:39 p.m. reported a civil custoday issue on Lee Drive. An officer went to the scene and gave the minor in question a ride back to their home.
May 8
A caller at 12:15 a.m. reported suspicious activity on Shirley Court. An officer responded to the location and found all was OK.
Troopers
May 5
Alaska State Troopers at approximately 9:39 p.m. responded to a two vehicle collision near milepost 160.5 Sterling Highway. Investigation revealed a 22-year-old Chugiak man was driving northbound in a gray 2012 Chevrolet pickup when he turned left in front of a southbound green 2001 Jaguar car driven by a 20-year-old Ninilchik man. Both vehicles sustained substantial damage and were disabled. The Chugiak man reported no injuries. He reported wearing his seatbelt. His passenger had a minor, non lifethreatening injury. The Ninilchik man was transported to a hospital for treatment of serious, but non life-threatening injuries. His passenger had minor, non lifethreatening injuries as well. The Ninilchik man was not wearing a seatbelt. Alcohol was not a factor. The Chugiach was issued a minor offense citation for failing to yield when turning left. The Ninilchik man was issued a minor offense citation for failing to wear a seatbelt.

Judgments
Jennifer S. Joyner, 30, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. She was fined $2,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 30 days in jail or on monitoring with 27 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $66 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his driver’s license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for one year.
Logan J. Lucas, 23, pleaded guilty on three separate counts in the same case. On the first count, he pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault. He was sentenced to serve 270 days with 240 days suspended with credit for time served; ordered to pay restitution by using his PFD and $50 to support the Police Training Fund, ordered to enroll in a batterer’s intervention program, ordered to give a DNA sample at the request of an officer, ordered to obtain a mental health evaluation; and placed on probation for three years. On the second count, he pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault. He was sentenced to serve 270 days with 240 days suspended with credit for time served; ordered to pay restitution in an amount to be determined, to enroll in a batterer’s intervention program, to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, to give a DNA sample at the request of an officer, and to assign his PFD to pay restitution; and was placed on probation for three years and ordered to obtain a mental health evaluation. On the third count, Lucas pleaded guilty making a false report to a police officer. He was sentenced to serve 30 days with 30 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a suspended $100 jail surcharge; and placed on probation for one year.
Anthony C. Larocca, 49, pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal trespass. He was sentenced to serve 30 days with 22 daysd suspended with credit for time served; fined $1,000 with $1,000 suspended and restitution in an amount to be determined; ordered to may $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, and ordered to have no contact with his victim or Anchor River Inn; and placed on probation for one year.
Criminal Court
Joseph G. Tanape, 46, two counts of sexual abuse of a minor, and first-degree harassment, all domestic violence related.
Jeremiah J. Adams, 15, driving under the influence.
Rhea W. Piaskowski, 23, fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.
