Nov. 6
A caller at 8:58 a.m. reported that a neighbor had blocked her driveway by parking on the street. An officer went to the scene and issued parking warnings.
A caller at 12:28 p.m. reported getting a text message with suicidal threats from a minor at East Pioneer Avenue. An officer contacted the juvenile.
A person at 2:15 p.m. was charged with misconduct involving weapons on East Fairview Avenue.
A man at 3:49 p.m. reported a civil issue between a business and a home owner on West Danview Avenue. An officer responded to the scene.
A caller at 7:08 p.m. reported minors walking in the roadway at Lake Street and the Homer Bypass and causing a hazard. An officer contacted the minors.
A caller at 8:15 p.m. reported an abandoned car in the roadway on Main Street and a truck with a loud exhaust. An officer went to the scene and contacted a stolen vehicle.

A caller at 6:22 a.m. reported a vehicle theft on Soundview Avenue. An officer went to the scene.
A caller at 8:44 a.m. reported a motor vehicle crash involving four vehicles and causing damage at Pennock Street and East End Road. Officers responded to the scene.
A driver at 8:25 a.m. was warned for erratic driving on Lake Street.
A caller at 3:36 p.m reported a motor vehicle crash with damage at Main Street and Fairview Avenue. An officer responded to the scene and a 51-year-old man was charged for not having insurance.
A caller at 5:05 p.m. requested a welfare check on a woman on East Fairview Avenue. Officers made contact with the woman.
A caller at 5:08 p.m. reported a woman sitting in her car on East End Road possibly on drugs. The vehicle drove off.
A caller at 9:34 p.m. reported three vehicles tearing up a yard at Mile 169 Sterling Highway. Officers responded to the scene.
A caller at 11:28 p.m. requested officers respond to a man causing a disturbance on the Sterling Highway. Officers went to the scene and arrested a 50-year-old man for second-degree criminal trespass and fifth-degree criminal mischief.
Nov. 8
A 32-year-old man at 12:05 a.m. was arrested on an outstanding warrant at Smokey Bay Way and Lake Street, and was housed at the Homer Jail.
A 43-year-old woman at 1:50 p.m. was given a summons for improper registration on Lake Street.
A caller at 3:12 p.m. reported that a man needed to be placed in protective custody on Bartlett Street. An officer went to the scene and brought the man to the police department.
A business at 11:50 p.m. reported shoplifting on the Homer Bypass. An officer went to the scene.
Nov. 9
A caller at 6:57 a.m. reported a motor vehicle crash with damage at East Hill Road and Race Road. Officers responded to the scene and contacted the vehicle’s registered owner. Officers found the person had run out of gas and was en route to remove the vehicle, and that there was no damage.
Nov. 10
A caller at 9:49 a.m. reported a suspicious man lurking around Main Street and Bunnell Avenue. The man was arrested on related charges.
A business at 11:33 a.m. reported a woman in custody for shoplifting. The woman was issued a summons for fourth-degree theft.
A caller at 1:13 p.m. reported a man slumped over the steering wheel of a car in a parking lot on the Sterling Highway, with the car horn going off. The 35-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence.
An officer at 2:20 p.m. was assaulted at the Homer Jail. A man was charged with fourth-degree assault of a corrections officer.
A business at 9 p.m. requested a person be issued a trespass notice to be kept from a building on East Pioneer Avenue. Officers contacted the man and issued the trespass notice.
Nov. 11
An officer at 11:04 a.m. assisted with Veterans Day parade duty on Pioneer Avenue, Main Street and the Homer Bypass.
A business at 12:36 p.m. reported a shoplifter on Lake Street. A 23-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree theft.
A business at 11:30 p.m. requested people be issued a trespass notice and kept from the building on East Pioneer Avenue. An officer responded to the scene, contacted a man and issued a trespass notice.
Nov. 13
A caller at 8:19 a.m. reported a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot on Bartlett Street. An officer responded to the scene, contacted the man, and asked him to move along.
A business at 5:51 p.m. reported a shoplifter on Lake Street. A 25-year-old woman was cahrged with fourth-degree theft.
Officers at 10:23 p.m. arrested a 63-year-old man for driving under the influence of drugs at Mile 169 Sterling Highway. The man was taken to the Homer Jail and charged with misconduct involving a controlled substance and misconduct involving weapons.
Troopers
Nov. 9
Alaska State Troopers at approximately 12:45 a.m. responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Ninilchik. Investigation revealed a 44-year-old Ninilchik woman had assaulted a family member. A 51-year-old Ninilchik man was contacted on scene and found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest for a prior criminal charge. Both were arrested. The woman was remanded at Homer Jail for domestic violence-related fourth-degree assault and held with no bail pending arraignment. The man was remanded at Wildwood Pretrial and held with no bail pending arraignment.
Nov. 13
Alaska State Troopers at about 5:22 p.m. responded to a single vehicle collision with injuries at mile 124.5 Sterling Hwy in Ninilchik. Investigation revealed a 46-year-old Ninilchik woman was traveling southbound on the Sterling Hwy in her 1987 Subaru station wagon when she went into the southbound ditch and struck a large driveway culvert totaling the vehicle. The woman and her 9-year-old female passenger were transported to Central Peninsula Hospital with non life threatening injuries. The woman was subsequently issued a mandatory court citation for negligent driving.
