April 15
Firefighters at 12:10 a.m. went to a report of a chimney fire at an East End Road home. Firefighters found sparks coming from a chimney and applied water to the fire box and stack. No damage was found outside the stack. Firefighters cleared the scene.

April 6
A caller at 6:27 p.m. reported the theft of a vehicle. While on the phone the caller reported finding the vehicle in a Sterling Highway parking lot.
April 7
A caller at 12:53 p.m. asked to speak to an officer about an incident of harassment.
April 8
A caller at 9:10 a.m. reported fraud.
A caller at noon reported a domestic dispute at a Linda Court address. Police responded and arrested an 18-year-old woman for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.
A person at 2:54 p.m. made a 911 call that a man would not leave a Klondike Avenue residence. Police responded.
A caller at 3:20 p.m. reported a domestic assault at a Main Street addres. Police responded and were on the lookout for a suspect and vehicle involved. Police arrested a 39-year-old man for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, third-degree assault and fifth-degree criminal mischief, two counts.
A caller at 9:52 p.m. reported a possible assault at a Pioneer Avenue address. Police responded.
April 9
A caller at 8 a.m. reported a missing or stolen phone. The phone was later returned to the owner.
A person at 10:39 a.m. made a 911 call that an unattended vehicle rolled into the caller’s vehicle on Fairview Avenue.
A caller at 3:05 p.m. reported fraudulent use of a credit card.
A person at 7:31 p.m. made a 911 call of a person who fell at a Bunnell Avenue address. The person denied medical assistance and said a friend would respond to provide care.
April 10
A caller at 8:36 a.m. reported a vehicle spun gravel at a Pioneer Avenue driveway and broke a window on the caller’s vehicle.
A caller at 9:30 a.m. reported a domestic dispute at a Sprucewood Drive address. Police arrested a 36-year-old man on two counts of fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.
A man at 1 p.m. reported an incident of harassment.
Police at 4:05 p.m. contacted a 41-year-old man and arrested him on state and federal warrants.
A caller at 7:01 p.m. reported theft of items from a boat on Ocean Drive.
April 11
Police at 1:55 a.m. did a security check at an Adams Drive address and contacted two people. Police arrested a 30-year-old man for violating probation, promoting contraband and fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.
A caller at 12:03 p.m. reported a theft at a Fish Dock Road address.
A caller at 1:25 p.m. asked police to issue a trespass notice to a woman from a Lake Street address. Police responded and issue one-year trespass notices to a man and a woman.
Police at 3:19 p.m. contacted a 50-year-old woman on Bayview Avenue and arrested her on an outstanding warrant.
A caller at 6:19 p.m. reported an unknown man at the caller’s East End Road property.
A caller at 6:42 p.m. reported suspicious people at Karen Hornaday Park. Police responded but could not find the suspects.
A person at 7:41 p.m. made a 911 call of a man yelling at Bishop’s Beach who might be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Police contacted the man and escorted him home.
A caller at 11:11 p.m. heard people outside a Pennock Street home who might be stealing fuel. Police responded.
April 12
A caller at 2:54 a.m. reported a person causing a disturbance at a Kachemak Drive home. Police responded, separated the parties and gave a man a ride home.
A caller at 11:10 a.m. reported the theft of a radio from a boat in the harbor.
A caller at 11:14 a.m. reported a wanted subject at a Lake Street business. Police responded and arrested a 21-year-old man on a warrant.
A person at 11:56 a.m. made a 911 call reporting a man would not leave a Spit business when asked. Police responded but the man had left.
April 13
A caller at 3:18 p.m. reported an injured sea otter on the Spit beach. Police notified the Marine Mammal Stranding Network.
A caller at 3:25 p.m. reported an unauthorized person attempting to buy liquor at a Pioneer Avenue store. Police contacted the subject.
A caller at 3:34 p.m. reported a man driving at Mile 4 East End Road and swerving near bicycle riders.
A caller at 3:40 p.m. reported a client made threatening statements.
A person at 5:17 p.m. reported receiving a fraudulent check.
A person at 6:51 p.m. made a 911 call of an unaccompanied 3-year-old boy in the road on Ocean Drive. While on the phone the caller found the child’s parent.
A caller at 8:03 p.m. reported a man known to her showed up at her Ocean Drive home and refused to leave. Police responded.
A caller at 8:04 p.m. reported people parked at the bottom of Main Street possibly doing drugs.
An off-duty officer at 9:05 p.m. reported a possible temporary-restraining order violation on the Poopdeck Trail. Police responded and arrested a 48-year-old woman for a TRO violation.
A man at 9:20 p.m. reported a theft from a Kachemak Drive address.
April 14
A caller at 10:35 a.m. reported a shoplifter at a Lake Street store.
A caller at 10:59 a.m. reported people camping at Bishop’s Beach. Police advised a camper of ordinances prohibiting camping on the beach.
A caller at 11:50 a.m. reported witnessing a drug transaction near Mile 4.5 East End Road. Police issued a “be on the lookout” notice.
A person at 8:43 p.m. made a 911 call reporting a drunk man staggering and falling down in the road on the Sterling Highway. Police responded and provided the man a ride home.
April 15
A caller at 1:15 a.m. reported a runaway juvenile.
A caller at 11:48 a.m. reported someone hit her dog on the Spit and then drive away. She said her dog appeared to be OK.
A person at 2:10 p.m. came by the station to report a theft from a vehicle on Kachemak Drive.
A person at 6:56 p.m. made a 911 call of a man upset at a clerk at a Sterling Highway store. The man appeared disoriented. Police responded.
A caller at 7:24 p.m. reported a drunk man getting ready to drive away from an East End Road address. Alaska State Troopers stopped the man and arrested him.
A caller at 8:36 p.m. made a 911 call that a man caused a disturbance and wouldn’t let her pass by at Ramp 6 at the harbor. Police responded.
A caller at 8:48 p.m. reported a man trying to sell drugs at an East End Road address.
Police at 8:53 p.m. made a traffic stop on a driver near Mile 3 Spit Road. Police issued the driver a violation for driving while license cancelled.
A caller at 9:15 p.m. reported a domestic dispute in progress at a Sabrina Road address. Police responded.
A caller at 9:40 p.m. reported a suspicious bag in a Pioneer Avenue parking lot.
A caller at 10:06 p.m. reported a suspicious vehicle on the Sterling Highway. Police stopped the driver and searched the vehicle at the request of the Adult Probation Office.
April 16
Police at 10:28 p.m. contacted a 38-year-old man in a vehicle reported stolen on the Spit. Police arrested the man for vehicle theft and driving under the influence.
A caller at 4:28 p.m. reported a possible theft of heating oil from a tank at an Aspen Lane address because a ladder was leaning against the tank.
Troopers
April 15
Alaska State Troopers at 8:41 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 66-year-old Anchorage man near Portlock Road and East End Road. Troopers arrested the man for driving under the influence.

Terry L. Sagmoen, 58, charge dismissed, disorderly conduct.
Zachary D. Trieselmann, 25, charge dismissed, driving in violation of a motorcycle permit.
Shari L. Brown, 64, charge dismissed, leaving the scene of an accident. She pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and was fined $4,000 with $1,000 suspended and sentenced to 30 days in jail with 10 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $1,467 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had her driver’s license revoked for one year; and was placed on probation for two years.
David B. Liston, 65, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was fined $2,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 30 days in jail with 27 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $66 cost of house arrest; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his driver’s license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for one year.
Dakota J. Jerauld, 26, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal trespassing. Jerauld was ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and perform 10 hours of community work service.
James Stark, 35, Anchor Point, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident. He was fined $200 and ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund.
Daniel R. Fleener, 49, Anchorage, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault, domestic violence. He was fined $500 and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 89 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered not to possess, consume or buy alcohol for one year; and was placed on probation for one year.
Michael A. Jimmy, 26, Nanwalek, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal trespassing. He was fined $100 and ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund.
Lyndsay D. Brown, 18, pleaded guilty at her arraignment to fourth-degree assault. Brown was sentenced to one day in jail; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $50 jail surcharge.
Julie M. Fowler, 46, pleaded guilty at her arraignment to violating a domestic violence protective order. She was sentenced to one day in jail and ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund.
