Homer Volunteer Fire Department
Week of Mar. 20 – Mar. 26
Homer Volunteer Fire Department responded to two Advanced Life Support emergencies and seven Basic Life Support emergencies, for a total of nine Emergency Medical Service-related tone outs. In addition, there was one fire mutual aid call from Western Emergency Services for a structure fire.
Week of Mar, 27 – Apr. 2
Homer Volunteer Fire Department responded to seven Advanced Life Support emergencies and five Basic Life Support emergencies, for a total of 12 Emergency Medical-related tone outs. In addition, there five fire-related calls.

KESA responded to one fire call this week.

Western Emergency Services responded to eight medical calls and four fire calls the week of Mar. 27 through Apr. 2.

Mar. 28
At 10:53 a.m., Homer Police Department officers assisted Homer Volunteer Fire Department with a medical call.
At 10:28 p.m., Homer police contacted a wanted male, a 42-year-old Homer resident, who was arrested for a $1,000 Soldotna Alaska State Troopers misdemeanor arrest warrant on the original charge of fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and was taken to the Homer Jail.

Mar. 28
At 7:23 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Anchor Point conducted a traffic stop in Ninilchik for moving violations. After investigation, a 48-year-old was issued a misdemeanor summons for driving while license revoked and violating conditions of release. The passenger, a 61-year-old Kenai resident, was arrested for a no-bail arrest warrant on the charges of fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and violating conditions of release and was taken to Homer Jail.

At 8:32 p.m., Alaska State Troopers located a 41-year-old Ninilchik resident hiding in the kitchen of a local establishment. He was arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrant for failure to appear on the initial charges of driving while license revoked and violating conditions of release and was taken to the Homer Jail, without bail, pending arraignment.
Apr. 1
At 6:12 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Anchor Point conducted a traffic stop near Mile 157 of the Sterling Highway for moving violations. After investigation, the 42-year-old driver was issued a misdemeanor summons for driving while license revoked/suspended/canceled.
