Homer Police
Jan. 20
Homer Police at 4:40 p.m. arrested a 43-year-old Homer man on a warrant for failure to appear in court on an original charge of commercial fishing in closed waters.
Police at 10:43 p.m. went to a report of a drunk man in a ditch. After consulting with a probation officer, police arrested the 34-year-old man on a petition to revoke probation.
Jan. 21
Police at 3:04 a.m. made a traffic stop. As a result, they arrested a 38-year-old Homer man on a warrant for improper use of registration and a new charge of fifth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. He was taken to the Homer Jail.
Alaska State Troopers
Jan. 20
Alaska State Troopers at 9:51 p.m. went to a vehicle in the ditch near Mile 159 Sterling Highway near Anchor Point. Troopers arrested the driver, a 54-year-old Anchor Point man, for driving under the influence. He was taken to the Homer Jail.
