A caller at 4:43 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a family member. Police contacted the family member and found all was OK.
A person at 5:15 p.m. made a 911 call with a “report every dangerous driver immediately” complaint of a person driving on Pioneer Avenue. Police contacted the suspect driver and did not find any impairment.
June 27
A caller at 9:18 a.m. reported drug information in the Main Street area.
A caller at 11:29 a.m. asked police to issue a trespass notice to a woman from a Sterling Highway property. Police contacted the woman, issued her a 1-year trespass notice and escorted her from the property.
A caller at 3:51 p.m. reported a theft from an East End Road building.
A caller at 5:32 p.m. reported a drunk man stumbling and falling on Karen Hornaday Park Road. Police responded and took a man into protective custody.

A caller at 10:38 a.m. reported losing a paint sprayer.
A caller at 3:41 p.m. reported a window broken on a vehicle on the Spit.
A person at 3:47 p.m. reported a domestic dispute at a Pioneer Avenue address. Police responded and arrested a 21-year-old woman for criminal mischief, domestic violence.
A caller at 4:48 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a woman on the ground at a Sterling Highway business. Police responded and found the woman was OK.
A caller at 6:35 p.m. reported an attempted shoplifting at a Greatland Street business.
A caller at 8:35 p.m. reported threats against a Greatland Street business. Police responded.

A person at 9:35 a.m. came to the police station with a possible fraudulent check.
A person at 9:57 a.m. made a 911 call reporting road rage on the Spit. Police responded and separated the parties.
Several callers at 10:03 a.m. reported a drunk man stumbling into the road on Lake Street. Police responded but could not find the man.
A woman at 2:31 p.m. reported a man wearing a dust mask and dark glasses filmed her in the parking lot of a Sterling Highway business. Police responded but could not find the man.
Alaska Wildlife Troopers at 5:04 p.m. asked for help with a belligerent man at the Nick Dudiak Fishing Lagoon. Police responded.
A person at 10:01 p.m. made a 911 call of a drunk man walking into the Spit Road. Police responded.

A caller at 3:20 a.m. reported a person sleeping behind a Dumpster at an FAA Road address. Police responded and told the man to move along.
A caller at 11:44 a.m. reported losing a phone at Bishop’s Beach.
A caller at 4:07 p.m. reported fraudulent credit-card charges.
A caller at 4:17 p.m. reported a driver in a vehicle spinning brodies and speeding at Bishop’s Beach. Police stopped the driver and cited him for failure to stop at a stop sign.
A caller at 5:30 p.m. reported a suspicious vehicle in a Sterling Highway parking lot. Police contacted the driver and advised the person to move at the business owner’s request.
A person at 8:28 p.m. made a 911 call reported a domestic dispute at a Mountainview Drive address. Police responded.
A woman at 9:34 p.m. reported her husband was drunk and wouldn’t leave her alone. Police went to the couple’s Sabrina Road home and separated them for the night.
July 1
Police at 3:42 a.m. made a traffic stop on a 38-year-old man driving on Heath Street and issued him a citation for driving while license suspended and a summons for failure to provide insurance.
A caller at 8:33 a.m. reported a domestic dispute had happened earlier at a Mattox Road address. Police responded.
Police at 9:18 a.m. contacted a 29-year-old woman driving on the Sterling Highway and arrested her for driving under the influence, drugs.
A caller at 9:40 a.m. reported low-flying airplanes making too much noise in the East End Road area. Police referred the caller to the Federal Aviation Administration.
A man at noon came to the station to report information regarding a theft from an East End Road address.
A caller at 4:16 p.m. reported a vehicle blocking his vehicle on Freight Dock Road. Police responded and had a towing company move the vehicle.
A caller at 5:20 p.m. reported a hit-and-run crash on the Spit.
Police at 11:34 p.m. made a welfare check on a woman crying near the road on Ocean Drive.
July 2
A caller at 1:23 p.m. reported a shoplifter at a Lake Street store. Police issued a summons for concealment of merchandise to a 46-year-old man.
A caller at 2:06 p.m. reported a driver passing unsafely on the Spit.
A caller at 3:20 p.m. reported a vehicle blocking several other vehicles in a Spit parking lot.
A caller at 7:16 p.m. reported the theft of a phone on the Spit.
A caller at 7:58 p.m. asked for extra patrols after a theft from a vehicle on Bayview Avenue.
A caller at 8:12 p.m. reported a dog attack with no injuries at Bishop’s Beach.
A caller at 9:41 p.m. reported arriving at his Soundview Avenue home and being assaulted after a man left the building.
A caller at 10:10 p.m. reported people smoking cannabis in a vehicle parked at Bishop’s Beach.
Police at 11:55 p.m. contacted a person setting off fireworks on the Spit.
July 3
A person at 1:10 a.m. made a 911 call of a group of people kicking over signs while walking on the Spit toward town. Police couldn’t locate the suspects.
A caller at 6:52 a.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a family member at a Fairview Avenue home. Police responded.
Troopers
June 30
Alaska State Troopers at 7:13 a.m. went to a single-vehicle crash with injuries on Diamond Ridge Road and Shelton Drive. Troopers said a 45-year-old Homer man was the sole occupant and suffered minor injuries. Kachemak Emergency Services medics took him to South Peninsula Hospital. Troopers said the man had a revoked license until 2083 for a driving under the influence conviction. Troopers will forward charges of driving while license revoked to the district attorney’s office. An investigation is still ongoing.
July 2
Troopers at 8:50 a.m. received a report that a 31-year-old Nikolaevsk man had stolen a relative’s vehicle in Nikolaevsk. Troopers responded and stopped the man driving the stolen vehicle on the North Fork Road in Anchor Point. Troopers said the man also had a revoked license from a previous DUI conviction. Troopers attempted to arrest the man, but he resisted arrest until troopers could fully control him. The vehicle was returned to its owner.

Ciara Cordes-Walker, 18, charge dismissed, driving in violation of an instructional permit.
Charles Lane, 56, Anchorage, charges dismissed, driving while license cancelled, suspended, revoked or limited, two counts. He pleaded guilty to another count of driving while license cancelled, suspended, revoked or limited. He was fined $1,000 and sentenced to 20 days in jail with 107 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; and was placed on probation for one year. He also pleaded guilty to failure to stop at the direction of a peace officer and was sentenced to 20 days in jail with 20 days suspended and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.
Eric J. Brown, 64, charge dismissed, fourth-degree assault. He pleaded guilty to resisting arrest. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended and fined $1,000 with $500 suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; and was placed on probation for one year.
Amelia R. Inman, 22, charges dismissed, second-degree theft. She pleaded guilty to third-degree theft. She was sentenced to 270 days in jail with 260 days suspended and ordered to perform 80 hours of community work service; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered not to have contact with her victims; and was placed on probation for one year.
Andrew R. Cook, 26, Nikiski, charge dismissed, interfering with a report of domestic violence. He pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment. He was fined $1,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 10 days in jail with five days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; and was placed on probation for one year.
Caleb L. Jones, 28, Anchorage, pleaded guilty to violating a domestic violence protective order. He was ordered to perform 10 hours of community work service and to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund.
Ryan R. Meganack, 34, Port Graham, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to one day in jail and ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund.
Steven W. Morris, 60, Ninilchik, pleaded guilty to driving while license cancelled, suspended or revoked. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $100 suspended jail surcharge; and was placed on probation for one year.
Ryan D. Bartman, 32, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree theft. He was given a suspended imposition of sentence subject to the conditions that he pay a $100 fine, forfeit items seized, pay restitution and have no contact with Ulmer’s Drug and Hardware Store. He was placed on probation for six months.
Jesse W.E. White, 37, pleaded no contest to driving under the influence. He was fined $2,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 30 days in jail or monitoring with 27 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $67 cost of monitoring; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; ordered to forfeit marijuana seized; had his driver’s license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for one year.
