Homer Police
Aug. 18
Homer Police at 3:39 a.m. went to a report of a collision in a bar parking lot. Police arrested a 28-year-old Anchorage man for driving under the influence and took him to the Homer Jail.
Police at 9:42 a.m. went to a report of a man trespassing on private property. Police issued a 56-year-old man a summons for trespassing.
Aug. 19
Police at 2:56 p.m. took a 51-year-old Homer man to the Homer Jail on a probation violation.
Aug. 23
Police at 9:47 a.m. went to a report of a domestic disturbance and arrested a 60-year-old Homer man for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.
Alaska State Troopers
July 17
Alaska State Troopers at 10:15 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 30-year-old Homer man in the Anchor Point area. They arrested him for driving while license suspended, no motor vehicle liability insurance and violating conditions of release and took him to the Homer Jail.
July 30
Troopers at 4:21 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 36-year-old man in the Homer area. Troopers issued him a summons for no motor liability vehicle insurance.
Aug. 3
Troopers at 5:14 p.m. went to a motor vehicle collision in Anchor Point where a vehicle took out several mailboxes. Troopers determined a 30-year-old Dalton, Georgia, man was not impaired, but they did cite him for speeding and having an unsafe vehicle.
Aug. 8
Troopers at 4:58 p.m. received a “report every dangerous driver immediately” complaint of a person driving an older siver sedan that almost collided wiht a truck. Troopers stopped the suspect vehicle and arrested the driver, a 26-year-old Homer man, for DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test. He was taken to the Homer Jail.
