Homer Police
July 14
Homer Police at 10:15 a.m. went to a report of a violation of a domestic violence restraining order. They arrested a 59-year-old Homer person for violating a restraining order.
Police went to a report of a drunk man and arrested a 30-year-old man for violating conditions of release.
Police at 11:52 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 58-year-old Homer woman and arrested and charged her with driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
July 17
Police at 5:47 p.m. went to a report of a disturbance and arrested a 35-year-old Anchorage man for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.
Police at 9:13 p.m. received a “report every dangerous driver immediately” complaint and arrested a 29-year-old Homer man with DUI.
Police at 11:08 p.m. received a “report every dangerous driver immediately” complaint and arrested a 33-year-old Hermon, Maine man with DUI.
July 18
Police at 12:05 a.m.arrested a 38-year-old Anchorage man for a probation violation.
Police at 1:35 a.m. went to a report of a disturbance and arrested a 42-year-old Homer man and a 20-year-old Anchor Pont man for disorderly conduct.
July 19
Police at 10:29 a.m. arrested a 32-year-old Homer woman on two outstanding misdemeanorwarrants for failure to appear in court.
Police at 11:46 p.m. arrested a 27-year-old Homer person on an outstanding warrant for felony violation of conditions of release.
Alaska State Troopers
July 16
Alaska State Troopers at 11:36 p.m. went to Wildwood Pretrial Facility in Kenai for a report of found drug contraband. Troopers said a 28-year-old Homer woman concealed contraband on her person that was found during a routine search. She was charged with promoting contraband and fifth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.
July 18
Troopers at 10:29 p.m. went to two separate but related disturbances in the Kasilof area. Following an investigation, troopers charged a 31-year-old Anchor Point man with second-degree assault, vehicle theft in the first degree, criminal trespass in the second degree, disorderly conduct, harassment in the first degree, as well violating conditions of release. Alcohol was a factor in the incident and the man was remanded to Wildwood pretrial facility where he was held without bail pending arraignment.
