Firefighters and emergency medical technicians responded to six medical calls and two fire calls.

Homer Police

July 4

Homer Police at 4:49 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 47-year-old Wasilla man and arrested and charged him with driving while license revoked and avoidance of ignition and interlock device. He was taken to the Homer Jail.

Alaska State Troopers

June 22

Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited a 51-year-old Homer man and a 24-year-old Fort Collins, Colorado, man for commercial fishing during a closed period in the Egegik District. Troopers also cited the men for employing an unlicensed crew member and cited that crew member, an 18-year-old Fritz Creek man, for not having a crew member license.

Wildlife troopers cited a 44-year-old Homer man for having an unlit drift net in the Egegik District.

July 3

Wildlfie troopers cited a 34-year-old Homer man for vessel license required in the Egegik District.
