A caller at 1:13 a.m. reported a man being obnoxious and out of control on Bishop’s Beach. Officers responded to the location and arrested the 52-year-old man for disorderly conduct.
A caller at 10:05 a.m. reported signs of a bear in the area of Jennifer Place, for information only.
An officer at 1:25 p.m. provided assistance to an agency other than the Alaska State Troopers on the Sterling Highway.
An officer at 2:39 p.m. warned a driver for speeding in a school zone at Ronda Street and East End Road.
A business on Greatland Street reported at 3:10 p.m. an unknown, aggressive man and requested he be issued a trespass notice. An officer went to the location.
An officer at 7:33 p.m. warned a driver at Mile 0.5 Spit Road that they needed an Alaska driving license.
A caller at 8:41 p.m. reported a hit and run on the Sterling Highway. Officers arrested a 46-year-old woman for driving under the influence and for leaving the scene of an accident.
March 28
A caller at 8:01 a.m. reported a suspicious man on property on the Homer Bypass. An officer contacted the man, who agreed to leave.
An officer at 8:36 a.m. warned a driver for speeding on the Homer Bypass.
An officer at 8:45 a.m. warned a driver for speeding on the Sterling Highway.
A caller at 9:05 a.m. reported a man entering her vehicle on Waddell Road. Officers responded to the area.
Officers at 10:44 a.m. assisted medics on Latham Avenue.
A caller at 1:40 p.m. reported a possible hit and run on Ocean Drive. An officer responded to the scene.
A 22-year-old man went to the police station counter to turn himself in on an arrest warrant.
An officer at 6:02 p.m. warned a driver for speeding at Mile 2 Spit Road.
March 29
An officer at 2:16 a.m. attempted to contact suspicious people on East Pioneer Avenue, who fled on foot. Officers later made contact with the people and arrested a 33-year-old man on four arrest warrants.
March 30
A caller at 7:35 a.m. requested a welfare check on a person driving erratically on Lake Street. An officer went to the scene.
A caller at 8:03 a.m. reported a man putting a back pack in a drainage culvert on the Sterling Highway. And officer went to the scene and took the back pack into custody.
A caller at 4:30 p.m. reported a group of people throwing things and making lewd comments on Ben Walters Lane. An officer went to the scene and gave the people a disorderly conduct warning.
An officer at 11:10 p.m. contacted a suspicious vehicle during a security check on the Homer Bypass.
March 31
An officer at 12:30 a.m. made a traffic stop on East Pioneer Avenue and advised the driver about their revoked license status.
An officer at 1:07 a.m. found a dog dragging its leash down the middle of the road on East Pioneer Avenue. The officer picked the dog up and took it to the animal shelter.
Officer at 1:40 a.m. contacted a driver involved in a single vehicle crash at East End Road and Ternview Place. The 25-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence.
An agency at 2:01 a.m. reported a possibly intoxicated man having trouble walking at Pioneer Avenue and Lake Street. An officer went to the scene and held the man in protective custody.
A caller at 2:04 a.m. made a Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately (REDDI) report on a vehicle inbound to town, at Skyline Drive and East Hill Road. An officer went to the scene and did not note any impairment.
An officer at 2:36 a.m. contacted a minor on private property at Main Street and Fairview Avenue and provided them with a ride to a residence.
A caller at 4:03 a.m. reported a disturbance at a home on Main Street. Officers went to the scene.
A caller at 9:17 a.m. reported possible animal abuse on Ben Walters Lane. An officer advised the caller of their options and the animal control office was notified by the caller.
A caller at 9:45 a.m. reported a dog in the roadway at Mile 169.5 Sterling Highway. An officer and the animal control office were advised.
A caller at 9:55 a.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle crossing the center line at Mile 2 East End Road. An officer made contact with the driver and didn’t note any impairment.
An officer at 10:22 a.m. gave a driver a citation for driving with a revoked license on East End Road.
A caller at 10:30 a.m. requested that a person be issued a trespass notice to keep them from a business on West Bunnell Avenue. An officer responded to the scene.
Multiple callers at 12:03 p.m. reported that a tire fell off a vehicle and struck a gas meter attached to a building on Lake Street, causing a gas leak. An officer and other agencies responded to the scene, and the officer issued an accident report form.
A caller at 12:10 p.m. reported a man causing a disturbance at a business on Bartlett Street. An officer responded to the scene and took the man to a medical facility.
An agency at 5:46 p.m. requested officer assistance on Bartlett Street. An officer went to the location.
A caller at 7:21 p.m. requested a welfare check on a man on the Sterling Highway. An officer responded to the location.
An officer at 10:04 p.m. made a traffic stop at Ocean Drive and Ocean Drive Loop. The officer arrested a 54-year-old woman for driving under the influence and refusing a chemical test.
Alaska State Troopers at 11:09 p.m. requested local officers be on the lookout for a vehicle. An officer contacted the driver on Main Street and arrested the 24-year-old man for driving under the influence.
A caller at 11:35 p.m. reported a disturbance on the Sterling Highway and requested officers. An officer went to the scene and separated the parties involved in the disturbance for the night.
A caller at 11:57 p.m. reported a camp fire on their property on Tulin Terrace but said it was too far away to see the details. The caller said nothing else was on fire. An officer was advised but none were able to respond due to higher priority calls. The caller was advised to call back if there were any changes.
April 1
A caller at 12:21 a.m. reported being threatened by others on Spit Road. Officers went to the scene.
A caller at 3:35 a.m. reported a noise disturbance on the Sterling Highway. Officers responded to the location.
A caller at 2 p.m. reported people camping in a no-camping area near Crittenden Drive and said the people have started multiple unattended campfires. An officer responded to the area and did not locate any illegal camping.
An officer at 5:17 p.m. warned a driver for speeding at Mile 2 Spit Road.
An officer at 11:55 p.m. provided a ride for a pedestrian at Lake Street and East End Road.

Hayden A. Patterson, 20, charges dismissed, driving without a valid driver’s license, no motor vehicle liability insurance, and two counts of reckless endangerment. Patterson pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was fined $3,000 with $1,500 suspended and sentenced to 30 days in jail or on monitoring with 27 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $66 cost of imprisonment or monitoring; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his driver’s license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for one year.
Jon E. Sircy, 33, charges dismissed, two counts of fourth-degree misconduct involving weapons for possessing them while intoxicated. Sircy pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was fined $2,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 30 days in jail or on monitoring with 27 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $66 cost of imprisonment or monitoring; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his driver’s license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for one year. He also pleaded guilty to fifth-degree misconduct involving weapons. He was sentenced to 10 days with 10 days suspended; fined $1,000 with $500 suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and to forfeit two pistols that were seized as evidence; and placed on probation for one year.
Christopher D. Stroh, 33, charges dismissed, second-degree burglary and fourth-degree theft. Stroh pleaded guilty to resisting or interfering with an arrest. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail or on monitoring with 10 days suspended with credit for time served; fined $1,000 with $1,000 suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, and to have no contact with Young’s Downtown Inn; and placed on probation for one year.
Timothy C. Robinson, 38, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. He was sentenced to serve 30 days with 30 days suspended and was fined $2,000 with $1,500 suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $100 suspended jail surcharge, to complete 40 hours of work service, and to obtain a substance abuse evaluation; and was placed on probation for one year.
Jacob T. Watson, 52, pleaded guilty to driving with no motor vehicle liability insurance. He was fined $500 and ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund.
Dolly J. Ipalook, 61, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. She was sentenced to serve 1 day with credit for time served; and was ordered to pay restitution in an amount to be determined, and to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $50 jail surcharge.
Jeffrey Q. Olson, 59, pleaded guilty to driving with no motor vehicle liability insurance. He was fined $500 and ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund.
Russell Schmieder, 48, pleaded guilty to driving with no motor liability insurance. He was fined $500 and ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund.
Criminal Court
Lea W. Slater, 46, driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
